Awesome about the demo, but you have to download some other program to get the demo? I have never heard of this 'Spoon' place before.

Gamersgate had it on sale a few months back, maybe they will again.

Apparently, the demo is limited to 30 minutes, which is definitely not long enough to give you an accurate idea of whether you'll like the game or not.

The price tag is kind of a turn off for me.
I'd imagine something like that to be fairly successful as a multi-player browser game that goes with the free to play and optional purchase idea, but as single player for 25$, not a chance with me. I'd rather interact with other 'real life students/persons' than a bunch of AI :(

Think Princess Maker on steroids with more content you'll see in 5 playthroughs.

Do the new patches still break existing game saves? I stopped playing as that used to be the case. I was going to wait until the devs stopped putting out more content before playing again, but it seems they're still dedicated to putting out more content. Which of course is a good thing, I'd just prefer to be able to play with the latest content and not have it break a game save started prior.
