I'm in. ^^

I can't mod, so I don't really care for it except for how convenient it is for me to download particularly good ones.

For additional fun and participation this week (does not affect your entry)...
MODDING - what mods do you love, what games really need the ability to mod?
Any mod-type thoughts you have really.
Oh yes! Another ''Absent Friends... GIVEAWAY''! The Sigil is really generous.
Thank you. I'm in. (I have UFO aftershock as a target)

I'm not much into modding, but my very best mod is the NEW VISION for Deus Ex.
Amazingly detailed textures for such an ''old'' game.
Count me in!

I actually don't like mods. Never use any.
yeah i'm in, thanks

i don't really play mods though since they don't usually interest me. I did play through the They hunger mod for Halflife back in like before i had a real internet connection so that videogame magazine demos and mods were a major thing. And i also played with some of Morrowind mods but that's the case of a game being made to be modded.

Also modding, at least for me, was kind of a hassle with mods messing up stability of the game and so on.
im in as usual :)

as for modding i loved some of the mods for unreal tournament back in the day and the first dungeon siege. ive modded myself once for the game freelancer, well once is maybe a little too short said a new sector just with 1 planet and trade routes took me a month of coding :D
but some mods out there are really awesome not all mods for every game but some and i really like what some modders can do with their skills
In please! :)

My most recent best mod was for Dead Island, it was quite simple, it introduced a day/night cycle. It totally changed the game, walking along the beach at the dead of night, then you hear this unmerciful inhuman scream and hear the speedy slapping of feet on the boardwalk as the only light source from your flashlight spins crazily in all directions as you try to anticipate where the Infected is going to attack you from. Awesomesauce! :)
I´m in again! Thanks S&S.

As for mods. One of my most played game is (was) in fact mod - Tactical Ops for Unreal Tournament. Although game was released as retail game later I still take it as UT mod :)
I have only modded two games, the Escape Velocity series by Ambrosia SW and BG2. In both cases I really enjoyed it. EV is built to be modded and the mods are hosted on the Ambrosia website. BG2 was fun to mod because it tweaked things and generally made for a smoother game.

I'm in!
In, thank you :)

I don't do a lot of modding unless it's to make a buggy game playable or more complete. When I got Temple of Elemental Evil, I installed the Circle of Eight mod to fix it, but that's the only one that comes to mind right now. When I get back to another run through STALKER I'll probably mod it. I generally prefer to play games in their original state, so I don't think I've ever had much interest in graphics update mods.
I'm in, thank you Sachys and The Sigil for your ongoing generosity.

I've never used a mod yet. I'm not against them, but I prefer to first play the game the way it comes. If I get around to re-playing a game, then I might see what mods there are to offer.
Count me in, thank you.

I'm not really into mods.
I´m in, thankz.

I don´t play mods, prefer to play a game just like the creator did it.
