Never, if you love it GOG will purposefully never put it up, it's part of their mission statement.

What he meant to say was, please read the FAQ. It'll give you, if not the answer to your question, then at least an explanation for why people are responding weirdly. Welcome to GOG ;-)

Yeah I was just messing with you, truth is they don't tell when things are coming out. It's all like a big mystery, and sometimes they give out clues, but just that, clues. I miss how they used to say coming soon and then people would wait, and wait, and wait, and wait... I'm thinking of you Waxworks.

I'm sure if they could, they'd have most of those games available for us. Thing is, it's not really up to them. It's sad to see how many great games have been lost due to bankruptcy, take overs, etc. Some companies are not even aware they own the IP to a certain game so how is GOG supposed to know? Let alone strike a deal with them.

GOGonites worked there asses off to get Activision signed. Now that we have a huge publisher, the time for EA and others to join us is here. Now ever game we want will eventually get here. The wishlist is a great tool for GOGonites to use in there plea to publishers.
EG: If i see that 9810 individual people want to play System Shock 2 thats $98,001.90 I just caught a slice of as a publisher at the $9.99 price point.
And thats not counting the people that will join just for that game alone, possibly breaking $100,000.00 and as a publisher all i would need to do to get a piece is offer the game files and the GOGonites will do everything from patching to testing.
This is how GOG works in my minds eye, at least it makes sense to me and I would personally love to see GOG exclusive or at least a way for startup company's like Soldak or Basilisk to get there games out there.
Either way you look at it the Activision acquisition has helped bring your dreams closer to reality joaobasass

Understood, it's nice to have some surprises sometimes, though. The only thing we can do is wait, and I'd better start doing that XD

Indeed, that's sad. Too much red tape for a huge amount of fun.

Nice way to overview the way the site works.
That's a point(about Activision). Maybe things will really get easier with that Activision acquisition.

I like that approach as well - it means I can always look forward to a new game to be announced. It's a bit silly since I already own nearly ever game brought to GOG but it's still fun to get the extras and have it in a nice package.

There are already several dozen of these threads, and more are popping up every day. It's pretty much expected that not everyone reads the FAQ and Welcome, please read! threads, but the sheer amount of people creating new threads to ask the same question - When will <game> come to GOG? - irritates at least a few of the older members.
