Weird no clue why I clicked on this thread but of all the replies I happened to see this one first - I LOVE when this happens and I still remember the first time I saw her in the sky... my first thought was "What the heck is that and why is it there, now???" I was lucky enough to have a local observatory that was able to answer it for me very quickly and with a smile. Very nice of you to point her out for others!

I've been absent myself a lot lately but please count me in Sachys and while it's not specific to exploration of space I've very much enjoyed looking at these images and using some of them for backgrounds which come from the landsat and similar satellites taking pictures of earth.
