I won't mark this as a question since there's no single answer, but some of you may have suggestions. Since a lot of you seem to be game 'collectors,' this may be up your alley. I don't care about physically owning all the games I've ever played, but recently I made a list of every game I've beaten (or played thoroughly).
What I want is a cool website where I can keep track of all those games. Preferably with some sort of cool 'shelf' like Gog.com just added here -- but for ALL games. In other words, something like Shelfari, but for video games. (see my shelfari shelf here).
I've tried raptr.com, but I really don't like their interface, or the fact that the site centers around social networking.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Xfire?

Thanks for the suggestions, Weclock, but that's not really the sort of thing I'm looking for. First of all, it's PC only (I think) -- I'm looking for something for ALL video games. Also, I'm really just interested in a collection organizer/interface, not all the social networking stuff.

Well, that may shoot down my suggestion. I know there's a facebook plugin that does this, but if you're not into the whole social networking thing, then I doubt you're on facebook.
Game Collector from Collectorz.com, perhaps? Its not really a site, but it does seem to do what you want and you can export your collection to HTML to post on your own site, if you want.

I kind of dig Shelfari and use it to find new books to read, a similar site for games would be pretty neat.
What about IGN? They have it for games, movies, etc. Also mobygames has something kind of like that.
Actually just looked closer at mobygames and they have this Playlist for users and it contains:
All Time Favorite
Currently Playing
Recently Finished
Up Next
And what systems you have..

Thanks, I'll check both of these out.

If you go about it through Gamestats (an IGN affiliate), it actually works pretty well.
Shacknews, Firingsquad and Gamespot have also this kind of thing.

I tried shacknews, but there's two problems: They don't have older (GB, SNES, NES...) games, which I also want to be able to keep track of.
I have been at gamespot for a while, and while there interface is nice, unfortunately they don't show box art next to the games in your game lists. I know this shouldn't be a big deal, but I like box art :P
I did sign up for IGN, and overall I think it's my top choice. It keeps track of all the games I want, has box art for everything, and displays it right there in the list.
What I'd really love is if some site did a shelf feature, but until then, I think IGN suits my needs best.
Thanks guys!
i personally like using amazon.com for game recommendations.
This idea is cool, will look into these suggestions myself too. :)
