Well, I just got back from downtown Portland where I saw the band "Genitorturer's" play again (my first being in 1999). Some of you may not know this, but the song "Lecher Bitch" by them was used in the game, in the Last Round bar where all the Anarchs are, so you hear it A LOT. Since I've been wanting to see them for awhile, I decided at the last minute that it would be a bit fun to bring the Vampire case with me (I bought my copy in Germany when I lived there, since the full game is in English and uncensored) to see if she would sign it.

Well, after the concert, Gen stuck around with some of the crowd to drink whiskey and sign autographs. I handed her the game case and said I had something a bit different for her to sign, and gave her the case. She recognized it immediately and said "Wow, yeah, I don't see one of these every day" and she signed it. I found it awesome that not only did she recognize it, but she signed it as well.

So now I have a unique copy of Vampire, and I have placed it on my collectibles shelf, next to an autographed copy of "The Gene Generation" by Andy LaPlegua and an autographed copy of Rock Band 2 by Joe Letz :D

I've never played the game, but it's a great story :-)

On that note, since the purpose of the thread was telling the story in the first place, we might as well expand on the concept.

So: What game would you want signed, by whom, and why?

For me, I think I'd want my copy of Sacrifice (which most likely now resides in the US along with the friend I lent it to many years ago) signed by Tim Curry, who supplies the voice of Stratos in the game. I've always been a huge fan of his, and I think he really makes Stratos a memorable character.

Dragon Age signed by Kate Mulgrew...her with the heavy, sensual voice...*drooool*

Morrigan is voiced by Claudia Black, and Kate Mulgrew voiced her mother, Flemeth.

The only thing good about the Star Trek expanded universe is they infact did kill Janeway. Hopefully with fire.

I have a friend who got her Brutal Legend signed by Lemmy which I thought was awesome!

It was an attempt at humour certainly. And you may have killed one Captain Janeway, but the greatest portrayal of that character will live on forever...
