Square Enix is the publisher of Bravely Default on Nintendo 3DS, which looks like a fantastic game. I say looks like because, while I've bought it, I haven't had time yet to start to play it.

And I won't until december. The reason? They are upgrading their game by releasing a new version (or a DLC upgrade for those who already own the game) which will add tons of new contents and one particularly: additional languages!

I mean, I live in Japan, I have a japanese 3DS so I bought the japanese version. It's okay, I know enough japanese to be able to play it. But to know that with the expansion I will be able to play in my native tongue (French) is just a tremendous bonus.

Of course, this bonus will come at a price and I wish publishers would include multi-language releases in their base game, since more and more "japanese people-oriented" games are released in the West. But still, it's a nice attention (since there will be 5 foreign languages included) and I think I'll show support to Square Enix by buying the DLC!

Showing support for a company who is giving you features you want - sounds more than reasonable to me :)

I will confess to insane jealousy though; there are many games I would have loved to play in another language and could not do so (mostly Japanese)...I'm afraid that's something I will never be able to do. :(

I am pissed for Capcom hording Monster Hunter for Japan only and I do not want some inferior substitute in Dragon's Dogma and/or Deep Down.

Well at least they gave us 3 ultimate and 4 is likely to come too due to the strong sales it is receiving but wont be till mid or end of next year I assume
I was pretty glad to find out that Bravely Default is coming to the U.S. because it looks pretty good.
