I just got a retweet of @w0rma's status on Twitter:
"One very important deal for GOG.com is signed. Just a few more weeks to prepare its announcement and here we go ;-)"
I wonder who this publisher is??

Commence with the random guessing!
LucasArts! LucasArts! C'mon LucasArts!
I still think its Atari.
Atari would be big. Especially if that brought D&D to GOG. Whoaholyshit that would be big!
EA seem to be moving in the right direction and are now interested in making money of their old IP (plus they're haemorrhaging money at the moment).
Hmm...
I'd like to see the Sierra catalogue on GOG, and that would require discussion with Vivendi, which would be huge.
Atari seems like a good bet sooner or later though, they are fond of re-releasing classics, and they did publish The Witcher...
I'm just thinking with the rerelease of the D&D games on amazon.co.uk very soon they may want to pursue digital distribution as well and what better site then gog?
I could see EA as well to help bring in some much needed money but as much as I'd like to see Vivendi here I think they are probably buried in so much money at the moment they are probably not thinking about how they could exploit their old games.
Atari, Sierra, LucasArts, AND Electronic Arts are all good guesses. We shall see, however... (and BTW, I'll be mainly out of the random guessing this time around, as you took all my guesses!! ;) )
BJ
Atari is my guess. They have recently put all of the D&D titles under their direct control and they are always starved for cash. I think the no DRM aspect of GOG keeps Lucasarts and EA away for now.
Eidos a.k.a Square Enix Europe...please? :D
Please oh please be it Renegade Software: Gods. My most desired legal download ever.
Maybe it's Activision! Maybe we should take the GO out of GOG and just make it Games.com That way we can sell CoD5 too. That would be so l337.

Maybe the first Call of Duty can be considered a GOG? Nevertheless, there's a serious shortage of good FPS in GOG... :|

The first Call of Duty is defiantly a GOG, even if people are sick of ww2 games now that came out when the only other thing like it was medal of honour. I'm suprised we don't have the id games on here yet maybe they are not so keen on drm free?
They are re-releasing cod1 on the xbox live arcade, hard to tell if this increases the chances of it being on gog because they want to rake in the cash from an old game over all formats or decreases it because they want to push it to a console format where piracy is 100% impossible!!!!!!!!
If its Atari im going to scream and then have a heart attack....
BTW, link to the twitter?
