THIS WEEK HAS BEEN HELL. I feel like I have to write this down somewhere or Im just going to breakdown so I apologies in advance for cluttering up the forum a bit. Ill start small and end big. My computer has been bsoding near constant recently. My harddrive is making some weird noise as well. Ive tried just about everything to fix it and have ended up factory restoring it. I just did this so I don't know how well its going to work yet. Now for the worse stuff. My parents got into a major argument this week and its escalated rapidly. They run an ebay store together. they sold a 1500 dollar item today and my mom withdrew $1000 dollars into a private bank account. This is basically all that was made when you take into account fees and original price of the item. my dad gave an eviction notice to my mom (they are not married) My dad told her she had no right to do that and deadbolted the item in his warehouse. my mom then called the cops and they ended up leaving as my dad had done nothing wrong. A couple hours later my mother changed the passwords to the ebay store and paypal to lock my dad out. He then moved some stuff away from the house to keep here away from it. My mother called police again and again they told her he did nothing wrong. she then lied to the police officer telling how my dad was threatening her life. He told her if that's the case she need to get out of the house but she wouldn't go until she had everything she wanted. He left at that point. So that's two times she called the police for no reason. all this coupled with a day of argmument and it just gets worse. My mom tried to guilt trip me into supporting her and I told her I could not. to make all of a bad day worse I just learned one of my aunts my die soon from cancer. she is in real bad shape and they don't know if she will make it. the problem is she got into a major fight with my mom (her sister) so I haven't been able to get much information as no one wants my mom knowing.

I just had to rant about it so thanks for reading if you got this far. Its just been a long and random day. Some background info on me to put things in perspective. Im a 21 year old student who took a semester of college to deal with an illness I had. I live with my parents who were divorced and got back together though they never remarried.

Edit: I did the factory restore and it is still bsoding. I also am now hearing clicking in my harddrive. I can only presume the system is about to fail. If I don't write back for a few weeks I just want to thank everyone for the support.

Nothing to say but good luck. And make sure you're there for your aunt if you're able. I'm sure a smiling face and a lot of love will go a long way for her. My other posts feel a bit flippant now.

And may yours improve. Let us know how the factory reset works. That and whether or not you're a Steamy user just might end up with you having some new games to take your mind off the misery, although it won't actually change the situation any. I am sorry for that situation, it's always so sad to me when I hear of how hard others are having it. Especially when I've been so fortunate to only suffer hard times when self inflicted, like a stupid thing I did last week.

I can't pray for you and your family, as I believe that if there is in fact a God(s) with the power to influence things here, then he/she is a total asshole not worth praying to considering the things that happen here. But I can hope for your family, and I do hope for you and them.

Sad to hear. Sadly not much I can say. However, reading to give you a place to vent some frustration helps some. I will agree, when you can find a place and get away if not permanent a little while can give you a bit of time to relax from frustration and home life that is less then stellar.

Ugh...the saying that we hurt the one's we love the most probably isn't really helpful to right now no matter how true it may be. But know that many of us have been exactly where you are right now and we totally get how awful it feels - computer, parents, sick family member and indeed life. Venting is good and healthy so thanks for sharing even though the best it offers is a shared shoulder... I truly, truly hope tomorrow is a bit better...

This is all very weird. Why is your mom taking money, and what would she do if she found out her sister was dying? Also, how about your own health? Hope that's getting better at least.

My mom and dad have been fighting since the start of the week. the taking the money was an escalation of that. her reason for it is that she deserves the money for her work on ebay and she wants it to get herself her own place. The goal is fine she just acted on it wrong. If she found out her sister was dying she would probably jump in joy. she and her sister got Into a massive fight when my grandmother passed away both blaming the other for her death. any mention of my aunt and my mom wants her to rot in hell. As for me I am mostly better though my longs are no were near what they used to be. I most likely had pneumonia and a flu at the same time but it seem to bring my asthma back as well and for about 4 weeks I needed a breathing treatment every 4 to 8 hours to help open my lungs back up. I am much better than I was but I still have to give myself a breathing treatment about once a week.

I think you should try to convince your father to just give your mother what she wants. We live in a society where women have more power than men... He is fighting a battle he can't win I think. And even if he does win, it will be Pyrrhic victory for him.

He has lol then she wants more.

Sounds like mom is building up an escape fund.

And dad is a bit miffed about it.

Dad needs to just let her go

And mom needs to stop lying to the PD.

You can only hang back and wait out which way the storms of Fate blow your ship.

I guarantee it won't lead to anything that you can't handle and next year this time, no matter if your parents are still together or not, the situation for you will be no better or worse than it is now.

That's life in a nutshell - Tedium always threatening to become Tragedy but just panning back down to Tedium again once the smoke clears.
