Well that sucks, still he had a very cool cult career.

He had a fine career but still there is never enough Rik. Half my childhood was watching the guy on TV!
Who?
Alan Beresford B'Stard MP. RIP.
Another one left us at a young age. :(

RIP
I remember him from The Young Ones though I just found out he was in "An American Werewolf in London" albeit only for a few seconds.
Big shame :( he was funny in everything he's been in, I remember seeing bottom live "an arse oddity" and he kept forgetting his lines and was heckling the audience :D.
Only really knew him from the Blackadder series. Not sure if I've seen him in anything else.

The one and only...
The world is a slightly sadder place without this comedy genius...

If you want your humour subtle possibly go elsewhere, but if you want it sharp, physical, and just plain bloody funny then this man was the man.

From ground breaking show The Young Ones, through the sharpist satire in The New Statesman and slapstick comedy genius in Bottom, plus those appearances in Blackadder when he Always stole the scene, Rik Mayall was just awesome.

Comedy legend.

Will be much missed.

RIP
Still don't know him but RIP.

You can easily use Google... or go old school and use Yahoo to dig up some information. If you don't know him why post two utterly pointless comments?
