So, just a few more hours to go before the last Wheel of Time book comes out. It's been a long journey (only a mere 9 years in my case, however), but it's finally almost over. Gonna pick it up tomorrow morning; the local import store will open at 7:30, although I doubt I'll have the energy to get up that early. More of an evening person.

Please post spoilers in ROT13; include a page number as well.

Fun fact: Brandon Sanderson wrote the last part of the epilogue whilst listening to To Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X, so I'm gonna make a point of listening to it as well whilst reading said part.
I've managed to stay dark since the prologue was posted... I've been waiting for this book since freaking 1991!
Only 12 years or so for me, but I'm freaking excited. I can't wait to get back to Ireland next week to buy it (still not released on my home country). That, or I find somewhere to buy a digital pdf copy online.

I'm soo glad to see a saga like this with an actual ending. And from the momentum of the last 3 books, it's gonna be awesome.

Jordans wife doesn't allow Digital versions for 2 months after physical release (yes we have all complained about it to her) the only way you'll legally get it in downloadable form is as an audiobook
I got mine in the mail today! I'm super pumped!!!!

Then i sure as hell am glad I'm living on an English speaking country right now, translation time would have killed me at this point. For I don't particularly care for audiobooks.
Wow. I picked this series up 20 or 21 years ago. Not sure which. It was just after the second book appeared in paperback. Bloody hell, I gave up after book 5 (and thought it would be left in limbo after Jordan died), but I have some of the rest of the series (up to book 10, I think). I may have to actually read through it all now that it's finally finished.
wow the authors legacy coming to an end, i hope the book concludes unlike anyother

Warning books 8-10ish aren't great... theres good books in there they just are mixed in with each other too much (he would have been better off doing a book each for the main chars than trying to cover them all in each book)
I picked up this series in 1995 and am very excited to see how it ends!

Yeah, I've heard there are some long boring sections (and entire books). I'll still probably give it a go.
I read the first book in 1992 when I was 11. Ithink I got to book 3 or 4 as a kid and then lost interest
in reading for quite a while. I recently got back into reading and bought the entire series so I
could just read it fairly straight through. The first books are some of my favorites. I'm on
book 4 right now and enjoying it, though I'm prepared for the lull to come in a few books.

Oh, and I got all the books but 10 and new spring prequel for $28. Woot!

I think i read like the first 8 or so before losing track of the series. now that its ending I'll have to find them

....did anybody else find it weird how universally bitchy all the women in that series are?

then again the only ones we see much of use the power and the ones from edmons field seemed human
when we first met them and only mutated later(thin it was around the time they became witches
too!) so maybe that does that to em.

Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time.
