LinustheBold: As a plus, their version is a beauty. It's more of a showcase for Bowie than for Crosby, but that's all right - someone has to play lead.

I absolutely adore this. It's one of my favorite parts of the season, and yet I somehow forgot it entirely this year, up until now. Thanks for the reminder. Fantastic stuff. :)
I always regret an active user to become less active. :( Though, to ease the sadness a bit, I'll post something here.
I'm not interested in music very much at all. Though, I can't imagine Christmas w/o this Czech song. A translation (NOT completely mine):

R: Vánoce, Vánoce přicházejí, ------------------------------------------------ Christmas, Christmas are coming,
zpívejme přátelé, ------------------------------------------------------------------ sing along, my friends,
po roce Vánoce, Vánoce přicházejí, ----------------------------------------- after a year Christmas, Christmas are coming,
šťastné a veselé. ----------------------------------------------------------------- happy and merry.

1. Proč si děda říci nedá, -------------------------------------------------------- Why can't grandpa be convinced,
tluče o stůl v předsíni, ------------------------------------------------------------ he slaps the table in the hallway,
a pak běda, marně hledá ------------------------------------------------------- and then alas! he looks under cupboard
kapra pod skříní. ------------------------------------------------------------------- for the carp in vain.

Naše teta peče léta --------------------------------------------------------------- Our aunt bakes for many years
na Vánoce vánočku, -------------------------------------------------------------- vánočka for Christmas,
nereptáme, aspoň máme ------------------------------------------------------ we don't grumble, at least we have
něco pro kočku. -------------------------------------------------------------------- something for our cat.

(REFRAIN)

2. Bez prskavek tvrdil Slávek ---------------------------------------------------- "We cannot be without sparklers
na Štědrý den nelze být ----------------------------------------------------------- on Christmas Eve", Slávek said
a pak táta s minimaxem --------------------------------------------------------- and then dad with extinguisher
zavlažoval byt. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- irrigated the flat.

Tyhle ryby neměly by -------------------------------------------------------------- "These fish shouldn't have
maso míti samou kost, ---------------------------------------------------------- the meat full of bones,"
říká táta vždy, když chvátá -------------------------------------------------------- says dad everytime he rushes
na pohotovost. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- to emergency room.

(REFRAIN)

3. Jednou v roce na Vánoce ---------------------------------------------------- Once a year at Christmas
strejda housle popadne, -------------------------------------------------------- uncle grabs the violin,
jeho vinou se z nich linou ------------------------------------------------------- it's his job that through the air waft
tóny záhadné. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- mysterious tones.

Strejdu vida děda přidá ---------------------------------------------------------- Seeing the uncle grandpa adds
"Neseme vám noviny," ------------------------------------------------------------ "Neseme vám noviny," (a traditional Czech carol; translator's note)
čímž prakticky zničí vždycky ------------------------------------------------------ Thereby he practically destroys
večer rodinný. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- a family evening.

(REFRAIN)

4. A když sní se,co je v míse, ---------------------------------------------------- And when all that's in the bowl is eaten
televizor pustíme, ------------------------------------------------------------------- we turn the TV set on.
v jizbě dusné všechno usne ----------------------------------------------------- In the stifling room all goes to sleep
k blaženosti mé. -------------------------------------------------------------------- to my immense joy.

Mně se taky klíží zraky, ------------------------------------------------------------- My eyes also start to close,
bylo toho trochu moc, -------------------------------------------------------------- I'm overwhelmed a bit,
máme na rok na klid nárok, ------------------------------------------------------ we're also entitled for a bit of calmness,
zas až do Vánoc. -------------------------------------------------------------------- until the next Christmas again.

(REFRAIN)

BTW, if you see this, count me in for the GA, and thank you (and, of course, thanks for Grargar and akhliber as well). :)

Thanks to you as well for your contribution! More winners is a nice thing (especially around Christmas time) so I will accept it, and update the OP post in a minute. :)

REMINDER: Giveaway ends on Xmas Day, and that's only a few days from now. Y'all should enter!
I've already entered, but here's a couple more (well, two versions of the same song):

White Winter Hymnal - Fleet Foxes

and a cover version by Kim Wilde

I fell in love with these after hearing the Kim Wilde version last year, not quite a Christmas song, but a generally wintery one.
Here are three Christmas medleys! Enjoy! :-)

Brett Domino Trio - Ultimate Christmas Medley (40 Songs in 1)
30 Minute Traditional Christmas Medley
Christmas 2013 Disco Medley (Nonstop 20 Songs)

NOTE: The last one is now converted to MP3, so I can now listen to it while I'm driving! :-)
To see how to convert any Youtube song to MP3 very easily, take a look at this post.

Love the light show that was done in this vid.
Oh Billy, I almost missed this! You know, I also have somehow limited my time here, and even without making a giveaway for this reason. :-)

Well, I am not in, but I am happy I've not missed the thread because I want to say farewell in return, give an hug and wish you all the best everywhere your life will bring you. We will be happy seeing you around when you'll be able to spend some time here.

Merry Christmas!

EDIT: I almost forgot: thank you for the giveaway, and many thanks to the other contributors, Grargar and akhliber.
