Well folks, this is it.

Actually, not completely. It's just that my activity here will be more limited than usual, and this may be my last giveaway for a while (aside from BBBBOB donations). There are several reasons for this (personal life, etc) but I'm not going to reveal them here. I'd just like to say that it's been a great pleasure being a part of this community during the past year, and I'd like to thank all the fine, generous people here that made this a good, meaningful experience for me. I'd also like to thank the fine folks at the GOG.com team for running this great community, as well as my favorite game store.

Again, note that I'm not leaving completely. I'm still going to log on and make a post or 2 every now and then, and check on you guys to see how everything's going, and post in game subforums, etc. I just won't be as active as I used to be.

Anyways, with that out of the way.... the giveaway! There are three $5.99 GOG games of the winners' choice up for grabs. (two of them courtesy of Grargar and akhliber) To enter:

1) Post that you're in. You may enter for others, however I will only count 2 entries on behalf of one user.

As to my favourite Christmas song, there can really only be one.

Fairytale of New York by the Pogues & Kirsty McColl

It is not just a great Christmas song, but a fabulous song full stop. I never use to be a hugely Christmassy person, but I always loved this song. It's not Christmas for me until I've heard it at least once.

Although I feel I should also mention this one:

which is by my girlfriend *cough*shameless promotion*cough*

My favorite Christmas album of all time is Dan Fogelberg's First Christmas Morning. He sings both well-known Christmas songs, and songs he wrote himself, all done in a classical minstrel style. Just beautiful. I really like The Carpenter's Christmas Portrait, too. You can listen to clips of all of the songs by following the links. :)

"I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". I just discovered it myself a couple of years ago, but now it's my favourite. Funniest Christmas song ever in my opinion :D!

I'm sorry to hear that, BMF, but it's nice that we are not losing you completely, you're always such a wonderful presence on the forum. Thank you for all the wonderful things you have done on the forum, and not just the awesome giveaways.

I'm not in for the prize, but as for my favourite Christmas song, I'm not too sure. I have always liked the more traditional songs, even though I am not particularly religious. I guess one of my favourites has always been Silent Night, I used to enjoy singing this when I was in the School Choir.

When you say by your girlfriend, do you mean the song, the clip compilation, or both? Because both are very nice, it's a really nice song and the singer has a wonderful voice.
