Hey all,

I need a little help. My girlfriend... she is wanting something to play, only she's a bit picky... she wants an rpg, but she wants something with a cute character (preferably can be female) with cute NPCs and/or teammates. Fighting monsters and stuff... kinda Dragon Quest-esque. Only thing is, I can't think of any PC games which match that sort of criteria, and there's none here which fit her tastes, we've been trying to find her a game for a while now on here, there's always something she doesn't like ^^' So I'm asking you guys, are there any games you can recommend? Especially if they're cheap and able to be gotten online (preferably not through steam though)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

They're not necessarily cute, but I hear girls are into goth.

What's so "goth" about VTMB?
While it's not technically a pure RPG, what about king's bounty: Armored princess/ Crossworlds?

^ cuteness is strong with this one.
Especially dragonling.

I really don't know how to answer that. It's like being asked what's so "blue" about the sky. All I can think to do is point at it and repeat myself.
I think its PS3 and Xbox 360 only but eternal Sonata is an RPG and I guess it could be called cute...
There is Recettear which fits the cute categories. Though it may only be available on Steam.
Recettear: An Item's Shop Tale is the only PC game I can think that fits your criteria but I think it's only on Steam. I've never played any myself but some of the indie RPG maker made games might be worth looking into as well like Aveyond and such.

edit: Correction, it's also available on Impluse and Gamersgate.

On the PC?

http://www.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-3

That's the best I can do for you now, unless you can find a PC version of a JRPG.

Well, there is absolutely nothing "goth" about the game. But I'm not from the US, so I don't know what "goth" precisely means (I know is a piece of shit term invented by the cool kids, and has something to do with black colors and metal and deaths and stuff, but only in the US you can be a "goth").

LOL!

Sorry for the little rant. :D But that term is one of the most idiotic ones that came out of your society (in the same league as "gansta" and similar crap).

Anyway, there is nothing "goth" in the game.
