Door = solution, house = problem, stairs = explanation of the solution??

So the question now is, "What solution does the door provide when used with stairs?" Hm. This is bothering me so much I'm in it more to figure out what the hell this all is supposed to mean than to win a game.

Another question I'm seeing out of this is "Why do the stairs come after the door?" Which, the door is a solution. So then, what is the issue it's trying to solve? Finally, the question is the meaning of the house.


I have an idea then, but it goes back to thinking literal interpretation (as it's never been explicitly stated that it isn't). You need to build a door first, the stairs second. The door leads somewhere, and you need the stairs built after. But, the only way you could get to the door in the first place is to have stairs if it actually needs them. So, the issue is what kind of door needs to be created before you equip the stairs to it? The entrance to the attic. The door is an opening that has to be made first, and the stairs/ladder/whatever has to come after. The door is a solution to getting into the attic, and after the solution is arrival.

Okay, this idea's stupid, but it's the best idea I have at the moment.

I see, So I would then guess you're on about iterative development (possibly something like RUP). Inception (door), Elaboration (stairs), construction (house), Transistion I would guess was left out because it's basically back to door with lessons learned and goals achieved.

Door = solution, house = our mind, stairs = understanding the solution or reason for something.

Solutions are important to our minds, but without understanding them, solutions are pointless...

Not quite, I actually made it quite simple. as said, nothing to do with programming or construction, or any problem solving processes using specially in those. i wanted it to be fair for everyone, so its problem solving as a whole. kind of.

I'm going to guess that the answer is a compound? I can't wait to find out what the answer is because this is killing me.

Ok, you've got me interested now. Back to basics. If a door is a solution, and it is a mixture of two substances, it is an agreement. The solution is to the problem, that has not been stated. After the solution comes the implementation of the result.

This isn't the answer, but maybe someone can springboard from it.
I think our noble quizmaster is keen for someone to get that epiphany and solve the puzzle (I always am in his position), so I think you're free to guess as much as you like.
