First of all: Yeah, I'm pretty sure games like that WERE linked to somewhere in the forums and no, I couldn't really find anything - but that may be 'cause I suck at searching.
Second of all: I'm looking for indie cRPG comparable to Planescape or The Witcher - I don't have high hopes of finding something, since making dialogue-heavy game require even more effort than making fight-y RPG. And yes, I'm just downloading demos of Dephs of Peril, Eschalon and I have tried Avernum games (didn't really like them - Avernum, I mean).
Last of all: I wanted to write something here, but my short-term memory failed and if I don't post this topic now, I'll forget to post it alltogether

Eschalon is pretty much what you want.

By official description, it still seems pretty combat-y. I'll see when I'll try demo I guess :D
Depths of Peril is an excellent game in its own right, but it is by no means dialogue-heavy. What you are looking for is really very rare.
Space Rangers 2 if you still don't have it. It's not really indie though, but hey no harm recommending.

Where did 'dialogue-heavy' part in Space Rangers 2 went? :D But yes, I agree, it's a great game and I did play it for quite some time.
People were discussing talkie RPG's here...
What Arkose mentioned is true. Wait a few more months down the road for Age of Decadence and Brian Mitsoda's zombie RPG.
There's this game that I've been meaning to get, but kept avoiding it. It's called Anito, and it's a very good indie RPG that's as good as it gets when it comes to keeping in the tradition of classic cRPGs. It's 50% dialogue, 50% combat. I was going to buy it, until I realised it has Starforce. Yeah I know, wtf right?
Such a shame, I really wanted to get the full game.
Oh wait, I didn't want to mark the post as solution, I wanted to get rid of screensaver! :D ... Oh well, I wanted to give rep to lowyhong, I hope he won't hate me till eternity now :D

Yeah, that would suck. I kinda liked him when he was still friendly towards us.

Me too :)
What an irony: I download couple of LOT more dialogue-ish RPGs and I'm stuck playing Depths of Peril. Diablo with diplomacy? Hell yeah!
