Wondering if they are going to use the 500th game to introduce a new developer/publisher to GOG.

Be awesome if it was an entry in the Wizardry or Bard's Tale series. Already got them but great classic RPG's.

Odd theory, but I quite like your thinking.
Now THAT seems like a sound theory, but wouldn't they have to play nicey-nice with Cloanto, the makers of Amiga Forever, to get the proper emulation the legal way? Or would it be a good cross-promotional opportunity?

I'm surprised the licensing on the VTM/WOD games hasn't expired yet, does Activision renew it or White wolf just doesn't care since it's the Old world of darkness which was ended a short while after Bloodlines. Interesting little factoid Bloodlines was actually made to be a build up/tie in to the final nights line/end of the classic world of darkness line and actually ties into one of the end game scenarios for Vampire

I have no clue, but what surprises me the most is that DotEmu has it and GOG doesn't. While I may be off... Since DotEmu acquired the rights to it... it shouldn't be a licensing issue, (i.e. they were able to get someone to cough up the rights for sale). I envision GOG with a bit more 'muscle' (larger user base, could offer more sales, etc).

DotEmu doesn't sell the game anymore they lost the rights to all Activision games it seems

your more likely to see System shock 2 then Blade Runner since it's a movie licence based on a novel
