GameRager: ONLY 196 bucks he says. :\

:D

bansama: You think that's bad I know someone who just purchased all the Railworks DLC for $300. Simply because they are collecting every single product sold on Steam.

Damn. There's no way in hell i'd ever pay that much for one complete game. :\

Still can't afford to buy the hats in Team Haberdashery 2, so he comforted himself with some DLC?

Nope, he's also bought enough keys at once to open over hundred crates in TF2.

That is nowhere near enough keys, man.

He does realise those things are just going to be entries in a database, right? Why not spend it on fast cars and faster women, like most people would?

If I wanted all those DLC i'd wait for a complete edition of the game, and a BIG SALE on it on top of that.

Doesn't seem like he does want them though. Seems more like a case of having a load of disposable income and not having the first clue what to do with it. I could be wrong. But I don't really see how.

I agree.....it reminds me of that one dude who is buying almost every 360 game they can and playing them all day long to get a million cheevo points. (He passed half a million recently I think).

Still, my point stands about if I wanted the game or not. Heck, if they never released a complete edition with all DLC for a good price(sub 50 bucks) i'd probably buy the base edition and "borrow" all the DLC. screw nickel and diming.

Because as of this moment, he owns the most games on Steam. Even more now than Valve employees do. And that's pretty much why he buys them. To remain number 1. It's funny actually, he's Japanese and thus, lives in the region with the least available games to purchase and now owns the most games on Steam (that includes regional variations of the same title where possible).

Psyringe: Or so I keep telling me. ;)
We all do, then we buy another one or three the next week anyway. And the one after that, and...

How does someone manage to afford all those games when all they do is play them? Rich parents? I'm sure they're proud.

As for a complete edition, I don't think you're going to see that for the simple reason that all the DLC (if I'm thinking of the right train sim) is fan produced. Meaning it's all essentially by different developers. So you can't really lump it all together as working out who gets what would be a nightmare.

But how did he wind up in that position in the first place is my point.

and I found out that you can only have 50 games in your cart... seems odd...anyone know their reasoning for that?
