Leisure Suit Larry--a great example of the classics that got us here, or you can pre-order Omerta: City of Gangsters--a promising Mafia crime sim that's showcases the quality & variety of the kinds of games that GOG.com will continue to release (new and old!) in the future.

We owe all of this to you--our gaming audience--and we're extremely grateful. This is as much your achievement as it is ours and that's why we're giving away 500 games to thank you. To enter the giveaway, simply tell us, after clicking the link, what's the next big step for GOG.com. Should we land on Mars? Create a small DRM-free country on some lonely Pacific island? Create an evil A.I. that will threaten mankind with endless tests? Just type a few words for a chance to win one of 500 games. You can get some extra entries by sharing, tweeting, and following us on social media. You're not joining any mailing lists or signing up for anything. We just need your e-mail to send the game. The giveaway ends next Thursday at 10:59 AM GMT. Join it here: GOG.com 500 Giveaway

Thanks again, and see you at a thousand games!
I'm confused. Do I enter the giveaway by typing something here as well?

Anyway: Congratulations on 500 games, GOG! You are the one service that made me buy commercial games again (after only playing freeware games for several years). And I bought a lot since I joined....
I'll enter, thank you!

The next big step for Gog.com will be... oh, I guess I'll say getting the rights to System Shock 2?

Hell I don't know, lol.

Happy gaming!

Licurg: And if so, do I have to use the same e-mail address and username as my GOG account ?
Thats an interesting question. I did so, but if not, I could enter for a series of various mail adresses? I think, it should be tied to the GOG account.
GOG, the first video game shop in Antarctica!
Congrats to GOG on making it to 500 entries!!!!. Great competition!! :)
To build up a secret underground army to march on the headquarters of other DRM'd download services, holding their respective CEOs hostage until they agree to abandon DRM.

Gabe, you're first!
Congrats on 500 games. And thanks for giveaway.

No, no! The others have to agree never offering DRM free games. So GOG will have an ever lasting competitive advantage...

Dzsono: Sign up to an external service for a giveaway? Thanks for the giveaway, but I'll pass...

Edit:

Am I wrong about this?
you can just use your e-mail and make a suggestion for GOG - that nets you 5 entries into the contest

EDIT: I see what you mean about "rafflecopter" - I'm assuming it only collects the e-mail addresses for GOG to choose the winners, but it is not creating accounts and we're not signing up for anything

Supportish question.

I want to share a link to my friends for that giveaway using the options provided by the Rafflecopter thingie.
However the URL it generates is not working.

Anyone else have this issue?

Whelp, I signed up for Twitter for this contest. Now I feel dirty.

This had better win me some free games. I'm here to freeload, goddamnit!
Only thing I wanna say is that you keep on doing the good work you do and I look forward to seeing more classic game releases on here.
