I know, I'm a terrible example of a marketer, recommending the other guy's product. But if you like 4x games, you're really hard pressed to beat GalCiv II in my book.

I'm already using GOG, Gamersgate and Steam, I think that's enough places!

Pardon me for interrupting, but what exactly is the difference between the Ultimate Edition and Endless Universe in GalCiv2? I've never quite worked it out.

As far as I can tell it's basically the European retail version of GalCiv2 Ultimate.
Galactic Civilizations II: Endless Universe is a stand-alone turn-based strategy video game add-on featuring the content of Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar and Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor without requiring Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords (though the Dread Lords Campaign is still present). As a stand-alone version, it requires no additional purchase. This release is intended for distribution in Europe only.
