Maybe it's surprising, I don't think so.

Good for them. If I wanted to know whats going on in the 4chan comunity I'd go on 4chan.
I don't want to sound rude, but do you honestly think a bunch of random people saying piracy is bad is interesting? Discusions like that happen everyday.

You'll not find a bigger site filled with scum and villany as 4chan.

... Except maybe Mitt Romney's campaign management. But the point stands!

4chans video game section is like any other bad video games board. The only bad parts of 4chan is /b/ and thats not even "bad" just very stupid.

It's kind of Funny how everyone says how terrible the "Community" (if you even want to call it that) on 4chan is and yet 4chan is the place where people really speak freely what's on their minds, I think it's a true reflection of that, people write what they think, easy as that

This is why Swearwords, Racist Words, Sexist terms are very common there, no one would say them in RL or a moderated forum

In other words: 4chan is the place where you can get an idea of what the real gaming community thinks about X, Y or Z

This is true for other imageboards out there that do not require registration and don't have any "rating systems"

Thats the main reason I don't like 4chan, it lacks structure.
4chan has no community, for all you know it's just the same guy posting over and over again, or everyday it's completely new people.

Isn't the GOG forums a bunch of random people saying piracy is bad?

Oh, I get it, you just don't think it's interesting that another community of people online think GOG is good.

Hey, for that matter, why post stories about any community saying GOG is good? Who cares if GOG is good, we know that already, we don't need recognition from other people.

You know, back when these forums started, there used to be a thread called "GOG in the media." Where they would post every story that was about GOG.

You wouldn't know that, would you? Mister "I joined in 2010!"

I think it's important that GOG get to hear about where it's been complimented - and I also think it's very important that people see that removing DRM does instill a sense of trust with your customers. If CDprojekt didn't have such a great relationship with it's customers, a thread like this would have never happened, and it's proof that it actually fucking works. You've got the scumbags (i.e. free thinkers) of the internet going "Hey, now I might have intercourse with a goat, or maybe even my sister, but I would not mess with CDprojekt, they've done me right." That's a powerful statement.

And in case it isn't absolutely clear what I'm doing here, red rabbits eat purple carrots to live a longer life span.

Never once have I cared enough to inform others about what is going on in this forum.
The store and the forum are two different things. I've recomened GOG for people to buy things, but I've never said "hey look at what the people on GOG are talking about!"

Well, you haven't really had the opportunity mister "I've been on GOG for only two years."
And frankly, Octopi swim northeast when the whistle blows south.
4chan is the ID of the internet.

Not necessarily evil, but dark and mischievous.

(Reddit is the middle ground. GOG forums would be more to the superego side. (We have some vocal bad eggs, but I'd argue most of the level headed, generous and fun people hang out here on GOG))

As gamers, we can all agree on some fundementals. We all want the same sort of thing, (though our methods vary considerably), so its unsuprising to see 4chan at least respect GOG on its motivations, by trolling the pirate.

I love how your arguement has now boiled down to "I've been a member for longer than you!"
What relevence does that have?

Well, you are speaking with time frames, you say "Never!" and never could mean a lot if you're talking about a time frame of thirty years, or it could mean nothing when you're talking about a time frame of thirty seconds. :/

And it's not really an argument anyway, you're really not catching that I'm not being serious about this at all. Gosh, the boards these days, so much fail.
Enjoyed that. Thanks.
