Finally, I completed Hotline Miami. These still leaves me with:

1) Bard's Tale
2) Overlord+Raising Hell
3) Rise of the Triad: Dark War

I think I can do this!
My plans already in motion included 4 games, but not to finish.

Thief 1 - 3 will be finished by the 25th (all replays).
Thief 4 will begin the 25th, but I'll be doing the opposite of trying to finish by the end of the month... it looks fantastic and I'll be soaking up that atmosphere as long as I possibly can (which includes some vacation days ;) )

I also won't be jumping to another game after T4... I'll likely play through on a preset difficulty and then work on replays afterwards given the fancy and awesome looking tweaking options.

I believe Thief 4 is the first launch date title I've bought since Rift in 2011 and the last one before that was Oblivion in 2006.

I do like the self challenge. I use Darkadia to keep the library in order. You can set up custom lists if you wanted to organize your backlog a bit. It also has a "now playing" preset that is very handy. I tend to add my "on deck" games to "now playing" just to keep my gaming mind in order.
Weirdest thing happened, even though I said I was going to play other games I ended up playing The Witcher last Monday, and just kept on playing until I beat it a half hour ago.

Edit: That is from start to finish, I recommend it.

I've started it 3 times now and enjoyed it but got sidetracked by other games. I need to prioritize it as it was pretty awesome and I need to get through it and Witcher 2 before 3 comes out.

Perhaps this 4 games thing could be a monthly affair going forward... :)

I've been working on XCOM, the first game on my list but being a turn based game it can take a very long time. Not sure how far through the game I am but I would guess no more than about 40% or so. Just building my 4th of 8 possible bases and I remember from playing it a long time ago that eventually you take the fight to the alien planet (Mars) but I never completed it. By the time I finish this one I dunno if there will be time left to do the other 3 games on my list. Hehe. :)
Technically, I've beaten the 4 in February challenge now. The games I finished, were
1. Hitman: Contracts
2. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - Remastered Edition
3. Redshirt
4. Shufflepuck Cantina Deluxe

However,
- I've beaten Hitman: Contracts once before in the past, and this year I already began playing it in January.
- I had to resort to the in-game hints and an external walkthrough almost constantly while playing Awakened.
- Only got one ending out of possible five in Redshirt. No interest finding the rest.
- Technically beat Shufflepuck Cantina Deluxe (beat the last boss), but I suspect I'd still need to reach the highest level and beat all side-missions in order to get a real ending. The one I got now (a simple "The end (or not)" message) and the fact that the achievements for beating the boss and leaving the planet didn't unlock, make me believe I have to do those extra tasks too. But, I swear I'm not gonna waste a single hour more playing that grindfest of a game.

So, whatever. Take it as you will.
Seems almost inevitable now.

1. Max Payne 3
2. Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
3. Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood

I started Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and gave it one chapter, but I didn't like it at all. I've started Rayman Legends and I plan on starting Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway shortly.

Then if I'm lucky and these games turn out good, I should be set for a while with:

Thief (February 27)
Shadowrun: Dragonfall (February 28)
South Park: The Stick of Truth (March 6)
Dark Souls 2 (March 11)
Adding one more to the finished list:

1. Borderlands 2 - DONE (one playthrough)
2. Assassin's Creed 4 - DONE
3. Broken Age - DONE
4. Crysis 2 - DONE
5. Shelter - DONE
6. Aarklash Legacy - in progress
7. Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons - in progress
8. Arcanum - in progress
As Always got disctracted by other games but my progress so far:

1. Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare : Completed
2. Siren: Blood Curse: I am at the middle, should be able to complete it since it's shorter then I thought
3. Epic Mickey: Made some progress but not much. It's bigger then I thought, might be tricky.
4. Castlevania, Lords of Shadow: at about 25%. It will depend if i get stuck on bossfights or not....
Success. Finished Max Payne 3 and the three Brothers in Arms games.

The first two Brothers in Arms games were decent, but the last one was fantastic. They finally nailed the formula with that one (Hell's Highway).

No more shooters for a little... lots of RPGs/strategy games in the backlog now.

BiA 1 was two weekends ago, BiA 2 was last weekend, and BiA 3 was Sunday to yesterday. They're all quite short, 5-6 hours each.
Managed that like a pro. :)

1.Medieval 2: Total War - Finished Grand Campaign (Long-45 provinces) with Scotland in Medium difficulty.
2. Max Payne - Second playthrough in Hard-Boiled difficulty.
3. Assassin's Creed 2: Deluxe Edition - Achieved 100% completion.
4. The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb - Finished Cathedral with Cain and with Magdalene also.

There is also a chance that by the end of this month I'll finish some SMD2 (Genesis) gems:
Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure - Defeated the first boss. Now at The Pits.
Streets of Rage 2 - My friend and I are trying to beat this one in Normal difficulty. He as Axel, I as Skate. We reached the final boss Mr.X but as soon as we saw him we died in agony.

My backlog is saying that I finished precisely 300 games (190 beaten+110 completed), so WHOOHOO for that milestone. \o/
I finished one!
Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death

what are some other quick games I can try get done in the next.. 4 days? haha
Mission completed:

1. The Witcher
2. Cognition - Episode 1
3. To the Moon
4. Hotline Miami

Will try to finish at least one more game during February.
Ok, so my list was:

Remember Me
Strike Suit Zero
Alice: Madness Returns
Torchlight 2

what I actually ended up finishing was:

Remember Me.
Strike Suit Zero.
Malicious.
Catherine.

Alice just got too tedious with all the hopping and repetitious obstacles while TL2 just doesn't feel right to me (something in the controls just doesn't have any meat to it).
