I'm trying to download the Total Annihillation soundtrack and I'm getting redirected to a CDN which just shows a page saying "403 - Forbidden" and nothing else. I tried a few other games and they all said the same thing too.

Is this a currently known issue? I'd like access to my content please :(

EDIT: Looks like it's anything, not just soundtracks.

You should write to the support, I checked few of mine soundtrack's and didn't had problem downloading them (but I don't have TA)

Have you contacted support? Maybe something is broken? I just tried downloading ArmA soundtrack and it works just fine.
Have you tried turning the GOG downloader mode off?
Total Annihilation soundtrack seems to be working OK here with GOG downloader set to 'off'
I've opened a ticket with support, I just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue first. I'm not using the GoG downloader.

Tried a different browser? Maybe the referrer or auth-cookie is somehow broken by some plugin.

The link you have in your "My Account" page has a session id which is linked to your IP address. If you are using a proxy that reports different IP to GOG and the CDN, the session ID is invalid, thus you get the 403. Using the GOG downloader is one method to bypass it, or you can check the lgogdownloader thread for a link to the Downloader API, and how to set a proper session ID.
There was a similar thread some time ago (can't recall exactly when, but must have been at least a month back) where it proved to be some problem on GOG's end that prevented downloading the extras of another game - Judas had posted in that thread and it required some action by him before the issue was resolved.

Could be another case like that, so it's good that you submitted a support ticket.

Are you sure? Haven't dug into the specifics of GOG, but many sites store sessionID on the clientside's browser which is sent with each request to authentify the client, rendering IP-checking entirely optional (nice for extra session security if it matters a lot and you are allergic to https, but may also break functionality for some users).

No. I'm going from memory with a thread about using GetRight to download the files, and the url that they had which did have a session id part. So it is possible that has changed, but the downloader API should cover it.
It's probably something wacky IP related but I've never had any issues on other sites.

I contacted support and they basically said "No way around it, use the downloader." I said I couldn't really do that as I'm on Linux and it's a bit overkill to download some pictures and music. They said "We don't support Linux".

Bit of a shitty experience all-round there to be honest, not all too happy.

While I am a windows user I was wondering if this could be of use to you

Not really, I don't game on this machine and would rather avoid installing any additional software on it.

As a workaround, it looks like if I create myself an anonymous proxy and use that, it works. Go figure.
