Yup, now I understand his nickname : He's indeed dogging his games like a pig.

JohnWalrus: My sister *claims* to have read the last Harry Potter book in under six hours. I sometimes wonder if she just said she did and read it later, but I wouldn't know; she's a super-speed reader :3
It's certainly possible. The final book was only about 80% as long as the fifth one; if I'd chosen to read it straight through (rather than savoring it) it would've taken me about five hours, give or take.
Sometimes it's switching between 2, rarely 3. Then at other times, it's focusing on 1 game all the way because I'm so hooked to stop playing.

Right now, Europa Universalis IV is the game I spend playing all the time.
Yeah, usually 3 installed at any given time for variety. I try to finish every game once before I uninstall. Doing pretty well, actually :)

pigdog: I play games in "short bursts" and "tend to have 3 on the go" which I alternate between.
That's exactly what do. Any more than 3 games and there's not enought time to play all, one falls into wayside and when I get back to it, I no longer remember what I was doing.

Limiting my games to 3 at a time was my best gaming decision!
I always have far too many games I am busy with, though the number of games not finished yet is so much, some don't get played for months on end.

Right now I'm busy with:

8 Inifinty Engine games (2 Baldur's Gate II campaigns, 2 Baldur's Gate Tutu campaigns, Icewind Dale, Classic Adventures (a mod that uses the BG II engine) and Planescape Torment,

7 other RPG's (or 4 if you count HOMM and Spellforce as strategy games),

1 strategy game (or 4 if you count HOMM and Spellforce as strategy games),

1 citybuilder,

4 first-person shooter campaigns (for years I didn't like campaigns, just free-roaming Battlefield player vs. bots, but now I've gotten into Brothers in Arms, Bad Company 2, MoHAA and Return to Castle Wolfenstein).

Almost looks like pathological multi-tasking.

Though I never finished 3 in one night.

That's indeed a problem I'm having. Not forgetting what was going on, I remember the stories really well, but remembering how to handle the controls.

I often pick up a game I had stopped playing for some reason... and instantly upon loading the save game, recall why I dropped it earlier. E.g. some level or encounter I really hate. Like Dungeon Keeper: Deeper Dungeons, for example.

I've also played a bit of e.g. Saints Row 2, and for some reason the game leaves a bad taste into my mouth, not sure why. I'm sure I'll remember when I load it again.
