....and whilst I'm using double entendres; this thread is all about blowing my own trumpet.

I play games in "short bursts" and "tend to have 3 on the go" which I alternate between.

Anyway, I managed a feat that I've never equalled and completed 3 games in one night:

- Torchlight (as the fighter)
- Hitman 2 (I cheated and treated it as a TPS)
- Anachronox

You can either impress the GOG forum with feats to match/beat my own or just lower the tone even more with your own cheeky remarks.

p.s. - I am older than 7 although my sense of humour apparently isn't...

edit: Prompted by reading StingingVelvet and Nirths responses - how many games do you have on the go?

I usually have three games going as well, an RPG, a shooter and an "other."

Never finished them all on the same day though. Impressive timing.
This is kind of the same thing courtesy of George Carlin:
"I never fucked a TEN, but one night I fucked FIVE TWOs."
I have listened to around ? knows albums in fast forward tonight trying to find the right remix for work tomorrow.
The boss is out and therefor the music is MY choice. Muuuhahahahahhaha!

Edit:: Holy shit I have been through 2732 songs at around 185 hours, bugger knows how many albums, but I loaded up maybe a quarter of my albums and got that.... only have 3 cd's worth of songs too.

I usually have 2 to 3 games that I mainly play but lately, unfortunately, I've been trying a lot of new games which I don't aim to finish or even play that long, just try and I leave them installed and I sometimes become confused and don't know what to play and I become frustrated. I prefer to become real hooked on one game and then I don't stop playing that particular game until I can't stand it anymore.

As for your humour I share it. You can subtstitute the word game or games for "blowing trumpet material" and yeah..that. :P

Too many but I usually don't play multiple ones on the same day, I rather take a break from each game for a few days or weeks and pick them depending on my mood. This way I'd have to say that I'm "currently" playing approximately twelve games, both on PS3 and PC (but I play more often on PC lately, as the machine is already turned on for work, most of the time).

Impressive. My simple mind is only good enough for one game at a time. Well, maybe two, but that is such a very rare occasion.
Well the summer sale is still not far behind us. My backlog of games that needs "completion" is too big to "finish" before the end of the year. Currently my main focus is Deus Ex, which I will abridge into Deus Ex 2. Simultaneously I have a System Shock 2, Arcanum, Fallout 1, Alpha Centauri and GTAIV (+DLC) playthrough rotating depending on whichever "machine" my wife wants to use at the moment.

(Too sublte?)
When it first came out, I read the fifth Harry Potter book — the longest one in the series — straight through in just over six hours.

As far as gaming-related accomplishments go, I've played Arcanum all the way through at least 30 times, and have abandoned at least twice that many games somewhere along the way.

So, um, yeah. Go me. :p

My sister *claims* to have read the last Harry Potter book in under six hours. I sometimes wonder if she just said she did and read it later, but I wouldn't know; she's a super-speed reader :3
Um, I am just going to throw out a number to celebrate my amazing husband... 24 ;-p
As many as I can grab hold of, and I always like them fast and loose.... er, wait, we're not talking about-?

So your husband likes Jeff Gordon??

For me I have posted way more than three times in a night on the GOG Forums

Um, not exactly? Let's just leave it "happy wife", shall we?
The title of this thread sounds like a line from The Hobbit.

I try to have:

1. An RPG going that I can play when I have a good amount of time spare (currently Baldur's Gate 2 but struggling to get into it and very rarely have a good amount of time to spare, next replacement will be Planescape Torment or Fallout);

2. An actiony game that I can save regularly or semi-regularly if I can only play for a short burst (currently Psychonauts - loving it - next in line is probably Outcast)

3. An actiony game that may be a bit more involved that I might not be able to quit out of immediately (currently Wing Commander 3 - am stuck on a mission currently... next in line is Freespace)

4. A game (usually dos based) that I can play fine in a window (previously Master of Magic but finished with that now and looking for something else... maybe Pirates!).

5. One or two others for when I am bored or stuck with the above.

Currently I am playing 4 games (BG 2, Psychonauts, WC3, Lone Survivor) and considering gettig into either Alien Crossfire, King of Dragon Pass.

So I would say I am currently play 4++ games.
