So in order to show indie devs some love I've decided to give away some nice Desura Indie games.
Also big devs/publishers are ruining the gaming industry not only for the costumers but also for other small devs with their day one DLC's, 15$/€ map packs, season pass which only gives you some dumb ass cloths, locked content, unoptimized pc releases, licensing NFL, FIFA so other devs with better ideas can't make games...
Talking about EA, Activision, Bioware, DICE, Ubisoft, Rockstar (although they make great titles, their pc support is sh*t), Gotta admit that square Enix has redeemed itself..

.....and off course CDRed /Troll.jpg

Rules
1. Min of 5 rep OR have joined before December 2013
2. Not Mandatory but complain as much as you want and give some reasons why you have developed a hatred for your former favorite publisher/dev.
3. (IMPORTANT) As always Paypalling me is an option to increase your chances by 10.6685% ;)
4. I would like you to participate yourself by leaving a message, if you want to give the key to someone else or trade it be my guest. It's yours right?

I will close in Wednesday to give people from different continents chance to wake up and participate :p Please choose one game out of the tree because I want to give more people the chance to win something. Random.org will decide the winners :)

Games are:
Project Night
Out There Somewhere
Holy Avatar vs. Maidens of the Dead

Shameless bump. People are too sensitive, about these publishers lol?

Thanks for your generosity, Zurvan!

Please, count me in for Out There Somewhere, it seems a nice platformer. ;)

I'm beyond complaints. So many good devs and publishers have messed with their own series and titles at one time or another, I've encountered better ways of wasting my time... like playing the games I like instead of plotting revenge. :D
I like DICE. I don't know for Battlefield 4, I don't play it, but Battlefield 3 DLC's are great. The Vietnam DLC for Bad Company 2 was great too. I think DICE is a fucking good developer, and maybe they don't want to make as much DLC's as they do because of EA.

Please count me in for Out There Somewhere, thanks for the giveaway Zurvan7 :-)

It is indeed a nice little gem

True enough brother, yet it still pisses me off how they get away with these stuff and people seem to support them. I see these game commentators say good stuff about sh*ttiest titles ever made and all these kids live him for it. Oh well, I don't watch youtube much more anyway. the level of retardedness (?) is too damn high.

And now people are hyping titan fall like it's the best new thing in the world. How can people accept 6 v 6 and 48 bots in 2014? And yeah it's bµpublished by EA xD

I loved Dice as well, but seriously 15$ for 4 maps? Or should I remind you of 1942 and it EPIC expansion packs? People seem to confuse DLC with Expansion packs. Back in the days COD and BF released expansion packs with WHOLE new campaigns, whole new maps, whole new weapons and vehicles. It was almost as you got a new fresh product.

Also BF3 had the worst release, game was stable after 3 months and hearing from friends BF4 is even worse. Some call it COD on steroids lol. Glad I didn't buy it but then again I'm sick of modern shooters and fps in general :(

In for Holy Avatar v Maidens. I loved Grotesque Tactics!

I do like the many indie developers, but I am growing tired of 8bit/16 bit games and platformers.

I have a complaint about Nintendo. Here is or should I say WERE the greatest game designers of all time. So many brilliant IPs. But in the last 2 gens of consoles (sorry, but there is to much already said about Activision and EA) they have produced no new IP's. They keep rehashing the same old IPs (Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda) that I would like them to take a chance on a new IP. Or do more with some of their existing, but rarely used IPs: Star Fox, Kid Icarus (that 3ds game doesn't really count), F-Zero, Earthbound. So many other great IPs that have been stashed away for more and more Mario games. /rant

I'm OK with this, but you don't buy only 4 maps when you buy BF3 DLC. For $15 (or something, I bought BF3 Premium for the price of the base game, so for me DLC was free) you have 4 maps, one or two new game mode, many new rifles, many new vehicles. And maps and game modes are sometimes really amazing ! I can't imagine BF3 without Wake Island :-)

Well, that occurs on all the entertainment business: movies, series, books, music... Quality doesn't really matter if there are enough followers intending to buy the stuff, not because it's worthy by itself but because it belongs to a certain franchise, developer, trademark...

BTW, seeing your avatar, I'd love to see the N.O.L.F. series finally arriving on GOG. Classic gems with a mischievously parodic sense of humour and a charismatic female protagonist. ;)

Can't blame you for ranting bro :p I don't know some say Nintendo does the same thing over and over again, then again I really enjoyed their zelda and mario games on the DS. Don't you think the mario games are getting any innovative or add something new to the formula? I think you are right then but then you got people saying Nintendo games are still fun and no matter the hate nintendo sells well. I remember the hate on Wii yet it out soled all other consoles. But imo NES had more innovative (although shitty) titles.
Not in, but thanks for the giveaway! +1

Zurvan7: -snip-
I am a huge WiiU fan. My entire family loves it. It is innovative and a great system for all ages. I understand the hate it gets from those who call themselves "gamers", but ZombiU (dumb title) is one of the best Zombie/Apocalypse games I have EVER played. And the WiiU itself is an innovative system. I admit they are re-inventing Mario in ways that innovate. Super Mario 3D Land is a blast, and it is great to play with the whole family. But I would like to see them come out with something new. Maybe a new StarFox which would be awesome in current gen 3D.

I'm not in.

I hate SEGA for being so greedy and obviously pressuring the Company O Heroes 2 developers into releasing the game way too early. Company Of Heroes 2, thanks to SEGA now, is unplayable for many people due to a lack of optimization. The game is also plagued with too much DLC. DLC that gives an advantage to the people who own them VS the people who don't in multiplayer. I also hate SEGA for making it so ROME II - TOTAL WAR is the worst Total War game instead of being the best Total War game. The game is unoptimized, full of bugs, missing too many features found in previous Total War games and is plagued with unreasonable DLC. For example, you need to purchase DLC in order to play as the Greeks. That's like making it so in order to use SMGs in a COD game, you have to buy the SMG DLC pack.

I'm pissed off at Bethesda for taking the Fallout name and cheapening it with Fallout 3, a game that is not as good as the original Fallout games. Sure, Fallout 3 is not a bad game but compared to Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, Fallout 3 is garbage. Fallout 3's wasteland is so empty. Not many evil character options. Not many quests. Not enough weapons and armor. I could go on for hours why this game is inferior to Fallout 1 and 2. Fortunately, they created extremely awesome DLC for this game...
