Who saw the new episode of 24 last night? I downloaded it (hey, I live in Hong Kong!), and it was OK, even though it sort of made close-to-zero sense.

As someone who despised last season (it was ludicrously uneven) I'm enjoying this year so far. Hopefully they keep the continuity going.

I didn't see last night's episode because I went to see my Bloody Valentine 3D, which rocked but just because it was in 3D, in 2D it would've just been a run of mill kind of crappy slasher. But I have been really digging this season of 24, I liked the movie they made earlier last year, Far Cry 2 the film adaptation, and even though I am already tired of how they keep hammering the whole torture is illegal thing this year, I've been having a lot of fun with it. I am excited to see last night's though, I may go do that right now!
PS: and yes, last season was horrendous

Ah, yes, found it now. Apparently, he was arrested for drunk driving, and spent 48 days in jail during 24's winter break.

Season 8 seems ok. Better than previous two seasons anyway, but not a patch on 1 & 2.

I watched the premiere last night, and I've only seen the first season (I just went into it with the assumption that everyone I knew in season 1, except Jack and Kim, were dead).
It annoys me how they always write the cliche "doesn't listen to Jack" character. From what I understand, there's one of those in every season, and it's pretty obnoxious.
