Some small hints about what it is not: The answer does not lie in maths (this time) and the numbers are not part of the redeemable code and the minus signs/dashes are actually not important. They are just separators. I could have also user blanks or underscores or whatever. Like 2(3) 4 222

No, it's not music-related either. Another hint: it has in some way something to do with this giveaway. Well, this might not seem like much of a hint, but it might weed out some more obscure trains of thought. So it's not the birthday of my mother-in-law or the date of the end of the world or something like that.

By the way, the solution was the sentence: "2 GoG entries containing 3 games for 222 rep"
So 2(3) meant "Two (or rather three)", the 4 didn't stand for it's numerical value but for the word 'for' and 222 was my rep when starting the giveaway. I thought it unfair that only the round rep numbers get all the giveaways and wanted to make one giveaway for a repdigit. :-)
