Most of the videos were totally over my head despite owning over 300 GOG games. Mainly because each video had one or more games that I don't own and were way outside of my gaming zone so to speak. :) Video #6 was the only one that I had a chance on, and I got 4 of them right by the looks of it, but Retro City Rampage did me in... I'm clueless when it comes to the modern indie games like that. :)

Congrats to all the winners of this difficult series of challenges, you all earned it for sure!
Stunned to find that I'd won for #10.

Most in the list were easy to recall but my brain froze on Omikron to the point where I had considered giving up entirely. I must've sat with the email open for at least 20 minutes before it just snapped back into my memory.

Now, to go through the agony of what to use the token on before it expires. :| First world problems, indeed.

edit: Decided on System Shock 2 after almost going with Might and Magic 1-6. No regrets.

Thanks for the contests, they were fun. I missed most and was apparently too late in two of them, but I had great fun searching for answers to those two videos.

Please consider posting them on the main page or on the forums next time, in addition to the social media. I understand that social media presence is very important to GOG, but for me and many others social media-free life is no less important.

That would kind of defeat the purpose of the contests existing specifically in order to get people to follow GOG on social media. The contests were explicitly to promote that, offering people a reward for doing so. There was no mandatory requirement to like or follow them there, but there was the need to monitor them there at least temporarily in order to be able to benefit from their generosity. They have the right to decide how to promote their own contest that they don't even need to offer to people in the first place really. :) If people don't like it, simply don't take part in it.
When are you going to post the answers to 11-20? I think I figured out the answers to one of them (a couple, actually) when the contest was still open.

So yeah...I was completely stumped. Guess I need to go back to games 101.
The second game on #20 had me blanking completely. It was too rough around the edges to be Shadowrun Returns and I'd considered Arcanum but still couldn't be certain of it. If nothing else, I'm definitely looking forward to finding out what it actually was.

Eschalon: Book I. See the trailer in its gamepage.

Ah ha, thanks for that.
Whee, I got one of the codes. Thank you GoG.

I feel like I should've gotten more than one, but it's really scummy to complain about "only" getting $10 of games for free. I'm thankful for what I've got.

Edit: and I might've gotten some of them wrong. Still waiting to see those answers.

Got a code for Flash video 16, thanks again GOG!
I got one for 19 :)
Is the code good for a single game only or can I get a couple if their total is lower than $9,99?

I just got an answer from the GOG team:

The code you won is good for any single game in our catalog, as long as it's regular price is under $9.99.
Unfortunately, that means you won't be able to split the coupon or put it towards a more expensive/discounted purchase. The good news is that there is absolutely no expiration date - so you can take your time and pick something up when it catches your eye in the future!

No expiry date? In that case, what for is the date next to the code (see attached image)?

I guess other things got in the way. :-)

The community has its solutions on the solutions to the second part but it would be nice to get and official answer and there are still no complete solutions to video 14.
