Okay, I want serious, sensible feedback here - none of your jokes, quips and amusing comments or I might organize a raiding party.... (I wouldn't really ;-))

Three games to be thumbed up or down, cos I'm confused...

That Kronos thingy (where the bloke on the cover looks like he's got a wasp up his left nostril)
Dragon Commander
Xenonauts
The Last Federation
Eador - Masters of the Broken World

Okay, that's five games, but the process is the same:

Shall I or shan't I?

Thank you everyone for your understanding and support ;-)

Kronos and Dragon Commander I have, Xenonauts and Last Federation are wishlisted, and from what I've heard, Eador: Masters of the Broken World isn't nearly as good as Eador: Genesis.

Psst! It's foxworks, not TinyE.

Eador is supposedly an upgraded Genesis, I bought it for the graphics but haven't played it yet.
The other 4 are the same ones I'm worrying over, ALMOST pulled the trigger several times already, especially Dragon Commander at that price

I've played none of those buy Kronos so far. I give it a tentative YEA, assuming such games are your cuppa. I still maintain that you should first pick up Battle Isle in the Flash Deals, to get a feel for the type of game it is.

I played the original Eador and liked it quite a bit, but haven't fire up the new one. My understand is that it's the same game essentially with mondo graphics, so if that is accurate, another YEA.

I own the other titles, but cannot give a vote either way on them as to their quality yet. But if The Last Federation lives up to its Homeworld-like promise, it would be another sure bet.

For what little I've managed to play of it, I've enjoyed The Last Federation. Its fun, and yet not fun enough to have stopped me from playing other games.

The only other one I own is Masters of the Broken World, which I haven't played yet.

I was hovering over Last Federation... Didn't buy it that time. Do you think it possible the price might go more than 60% :) ? or is this going to be a definitive through the sales and I might as well put my bank account out of its misery now...

Would say 60 is as low as it's going to go this time.

You do know that overestimating oneself is as detrimental as underestimating others, right? ;-P

Ha, didn't know this one, so didn't make the connection, cheers!
The question now is how exactly do you manage to show your ass every time I visit the forum?

That's as cheap as it's ever been on GOG (with the exception of the Mutator Promo bundles). In fact, it's only ever been cheaper anywhere one time since its release, 75% off last month on Greenmangaming (which is, of course, a Steam key). Will it be cheaper in the future? Undoubtedly. Will it be cheaper during *this* sale? *Very* unlikely. (pricing info courtesy of isthereanydeal.com)

Perhaps I am a bit overestimating, but I am surely not underestimating you, that is why I am hiding :P
Insomnia never sleeps.

If only this sale provoked such actions in me. Ah well.

CarrionCrow: See anything good that's caught your eye? Looking for items I might've not noticed the first time around on the flash sale.
Sorry, got called away to help make dinner :)

So far it's just been Xenonauts and Trails in the Sky that have been purchases for me on the flash sales. I've seen a few other games floating around that I already have that I'd recommend to people if the genre's their kind of thing (like Long Live The Queen for VN fans, Banished for city builders, Terraria for people who like to mine+craft, OlliOlli to those who'd like skateboarding games). I'm also seeing a few filter by that are marked as 'owned' that I've yet to even download, let alone play (and I'll leave those names to the side).

I've been nosy on MIND: Path to Thalamus and Wasteland 2 -- MIND is one of those games I'm keeping an eye on, while Wasteland 2 is, well...I've got a large enough backlog to be able to wait until its price drops, and I've certainly got more than enough RPGs to keep me company.

There's also Dreamfall Chapters -- same problem as Wasteland 2, plus my mind necessitates that I play games in order, and despite owning disc versions of The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, I'm still working my way through TLJ. (TLJ does work on my netbook though, so I'm hoping with the free time over the holiday season I can make some real headway on it.)

The same also hold true for Divinity: Original Sin, though this one isn't in the flash sales (yet?). I got a bundle a while back that had all the Divinity games up to Dragon Commander, and Age of Wonders 1, Shadow Magic, and 2. Needing to play through those has been excessively good at making sure I don't buy the new ones before I've played the old ones.

Aside from that, well. I'm hoping that there might be a Prince of Persia bundle, and I'll be mightily tempted by a Spiderworks bundle even though I know I shouldn't touch it until I've played some of the Geneforge games.
