donsanderson: I've made my modest purchases and it's off to bed for me too. See everyone tomorrow for the start of a new sale day! ;-)
Might as well. Not exactly exciting at the moment. -laughs- Goodnight. =)
Thanks for doing all this, much appreciated +1

Carry on, Crow!
...or goodnight in this case :)

Lost count hours ago. ;) I just know I'm about 14 hours into a 48 hour flash sale. Hoping larger numbers of older games come out of the woodwork, but I'm not getting my hopes up. The flash seems to be largely about enticing people into grabbing independent titles.
Just noticed the new build of guacamellee is rolling around. I wonder if the discount code from owning the original will stack?

If it's like Strike Suit Zero, it'll override, not stack. That game cost 4 dollars during the last sale, I used the coupon to grab the director's cut and it was 3 dollars instead.
ew.. so its a smidgeon cheaper to buy it now (67% off) than it would be to use the code(66% off). slightly disappoint. I was waiting for this scenario. Does not seem like it will work out how I hoped. Oh well. :(
Lots of repeats coming in now, but still some new arrivals peppered in between. I wonder how long that will last? Will this sale be stale before the weekend is done? Certainly isn't looking good at this rate. :/

The sale'll be bundles and the overall 50 percent off for most items. The flash part ends Saturday morning. So it's going to go from slow paced, to virtually nonexistent-paced.

CarrionCrow:
You think the Flash Sales will end completely after the 48 hours is up? The way it's worded, I think it'll just reduce the appearance rate from "three every 40 minutes" to "one ever 40 minutes". If they take the Flash Sales away completely, they might just succeed at making a more boring sale than the last one. [shudders]

According to the front page, it's a 2 day thing. If they drop the speed from 3 per 40 minutes down to 1 per 40 like last time? And then run the same inevitable slow-motion repeat for almost 2 weeks? -shudders- That would be bad.
Just bought three games at once: Dragon Commander Imperial Edition (80% off), The Banner Saga (75%), and Blackguards Special Edition (80%). The total came out to be about (I think) $US22.50. I think this is the most I've ever spent on GOG on a single transaction.

I own 171 games on GOG, almost all of them I had bought on sales. A few I got when GOG gave them away. So far I've played like... maybe eight games from GOG. Maybe not even six. I think it's more like, six.

I only buy a game when it's 66%, at least, off. Usually I wait until it's 75% off. It's the same on GOG and on Steam. I own 296 games on Steam. A lot of them I got from Humble sales, but still I think I bought 70% to 80% of those Steam games.

Out of the 171 + 296 = 467 games, I've played maybe a dozen games since I started buying games digitally. Seriously. I will never get to play and complete 467 games until the day I die. I should stop buying games I will never get to play.

not.. quite what I had in mind, but I do like the way you think! Pretty sure GOG would not, however.. :)
