CarrionCrow: Oh yeah....this is definitely feeling like the last sale. Especially those points where it feels like everyone collectively says, "Screw it, I'm going to find something more entertaining to pass the time".

Stilton: Your fellow nutter's still here...

I've been investigating Divinity - Dragon Commander and can't decide whether to get it or abstain. Eyes say yum, gut says indigestion. Brain says, cheap! Probably best to go with gut.
2/3 organs approve. That should go on the game's tagline.

LOL I'm just about to bail and go play a game (For shame! We aren't actually supposed to PLAY these things are we???).

I might be back to make a purchase. I've been torn between grabbing a couple of my lesser (but highly discounted) wants or one "big" want. I don't have a huge wishlist, but this sale has touched quite a few of them - which should be a good thing but instead is making me all wishy washy about what I'll actually grab! So I'm going to recenter my inner gamer chi by blowing up some pixels and then make a decision :)

I should have mentioned an irritatingly cautious nature... Cheap is nice, eyes will be happy, but for how long? That's the gut bit getting bilious. Is it worth what it costs for how much I might get out of it? Questions, questions...
Wow, I think I'm suffering from decaffeination! I sat down at around 9pm to read through and catch up with the thread and the next thing I know I'm waking up at 2am!

I checked out the homepage in IE without logging in and there are now (only!) 86,500 copies fof AoW left. Does that little counter remind anyone else of Insomnia? Perhaps once the two days of Flash Deals are over, GOG will switch to a Winter Insomnia sale! (We can wish, right?)

Unfortunately, because I get paid mid-month I haven't had a payday since the last sale and it's all due to end on the day I actually DO get paid. This means that I'm not in a position to splash out on the more expensive Flash Sales coming around yet but my wages go into the bank at midnight on 15th so I'm warning you now, I may cause a few GOG Bears with my frenzied purchasing at that time! :-)

Right now though I'm going to crawl upstairs to bed as I'm at work in the morning and out tomorrow evening for a Christmas meal. Guess who's going to be hiding in the 'Ladies' checking her phone every couple of hours? I'll blame the diet Coke for my frequent visits! lol

I grabbed it at some point. Part of completing the series. Only missing Original Sin but dropping over 30 dollars on that is just not doable.

Makes sense. Better than going back and forth the entire sale.
(And yes, we actually are supposed to play these things we buy so many of. Don't tell anyone. ;) )

Have you played this current one yet? Impressions, philosophical or otherwise...

That little counter makes me long for Insomnia....
Maybe you dozed off because you work hard? =)
Enjoy your dinner tomorrow. At worst, you miss the sale. Don't worry. There will be others.
Goodnight. =)

Not yet, unfortunately. To touch that one, I'd have to be through Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. Needless to say I haven't made it there yet.

Not playing in in-universe chronological order, then?

No, planning to go by release date instead. Works better for me. After Elder Scrolls, I learned that something with a lot of really drawn-out lore bores the crap out of me and I end up not reading a lot of it.
Kinda odd since I usually like RPG's.
Its sleep for me. G'night all. See you in a few hours.

Goodnight. Sleep well, see you later on.
Good night, sir! Until the 'morrow!
Night. ;)
Looks like we're already repeating, which sucks because I was hoping for 80% off Risen 1.
I've made my modest purchases and it's off to bed for me too. See everyone tomorrow for the start of a new sale day! ;-)
