CarrionCrow: Not a problem.
It's kinda weird, really. We just did a sale, and now GOG's pushing some of their most expensive items at the very beginning of a multi-day multi-bundle sale.
avatar
donsanderson: Actually if I had a lot of gamer friends this would be a great time to pick up presents for them. I wonder if this is one of the things that influenced GOG's choice of games on sale and date?
No clue on that one. As soon as I saw the word fall crossed out and the word winter written over the exact same screen from a couple weeks ago, I knew that GOG was doing their own inscrutable thing.

CarrionCrow: One big difference this time, though. I volunteered to keep track of the annoying obnoxious timer-based sale. -laughs-

It kinda feels like a telethon, only for something completely insane. Like a drive to raise money to have silicone breasts implanted into polar bears or something....
avatar
donsanderson: Do they really do that? ;)
I'd like to think so....I can hear it in my head.
"This is Misha....she's a lovely polar bear, warm, caring, kind-hearted. But she can't help but feel inferior when her mate is pursued by other, more voluptuous polar bears. We here at the I Can't Believe We're Actually Getting Money For This Shit Telethon want to help Misha, and every other polar bear like her. We want to enhance the self-esteem of every flat-chested polar bear who's struggling to find happiness within themselves...."

Not a problem.
Sleep well when you get there. Goodnight. =)
I've got a box of games on CD I was looking at a couple of days ago, and I wondered if I'd ever bother playing them again. They're good titles, but they looked so primitive. This ddl way of things has changed the way I (one/we/people) feel about physical things. Maybe people will be holographic one day, and when they try to kiss they'll fall straight through each other.
Nice, got Neverending Nightmares off the wishlist now too.

Have a good night folks (or whatever your timezone supplies), and see you tomorrow with fresh bundles ahead!

(Have a good night. See you tomorrow. =) )
Why is Neverwinter series still so expensive? -.-

11 USD for both, for games THAT old. Ugh.

Thinking that most people bite the bullet and take the questionable games in order to get discounts on the better games in the D&D bundle.
any chance of seeing an interplay promo with at least 70% discount?

That would be pretty great, but I never see their titles drop lower than half off, so I'm figuring the odds of seeing that kind of bundle are really low.

it happened for some titles in winter sale 2013, for more details ask grargar
Oh yeah....this is definitely feeling like the last sale. Especially those points where it feels like everyone collectively says, "Screw it, I'm going to find something more entertaining to pass the time".

Your fellow nutter's still here...

I've been investigating Divinity - Dragon Commander and can't decide whether to get it or abstain. Eyes say yum, gut says indigestion. Brain says, cheap! Probably best to go with gut.
