katya_stevens: Two weeks from now, GOG will launch their 'New Year' sales. As befitting a holiday where the idea is to stay up to ring in the new year, it'll be a much-wanted Insomnia sale lasting from the 29th December to the 5th of January. 201.5 games (that's 201 games, and a stand-alone DLC) up for sale :D
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =) I could go for a good Insomnia sale, but will probably need until March to get my coin back up to a decent enough level to attack it fully. SERIOUSLY hoping they don't decide to get cute and drop one early, considering the double slog that's finishing up now. Insomnia sales are interesting and shake things up, but I'm in agreement about not wanting one so soon (though for family-related reasons instead of money reasons). The last Insomnia sale I remember being able to see all the games on offer within a few hours and note that the majority were ones I didn't want, but with family around I'm not sure if I can excuse the continually needing to check a computer or a phone.

That really would be an appropriate junkpunch for anyone who's taken the time to track the sale....to end it on....that....

To be fair, often there is a second last one as the game to be appearing next usually is given the same 40 minutes. In fact, during the Fall sale, supposedly every Flash sale had the flash discount for the last 40 minutes. I know some games that didn't appear on the front page certainly did. So if there was anything you missed and wanted, starting in an hour and lasting for 40 minutes, it might be on stealth sale.

HypersomniacLive: You need to broaden both your horizon and theirs, and introduce them to new species. What fun would it be if they played cow simulator?
You mean like the goat simulator? :-) But why would a cow want to play another animal? How many games do you play where you do not play as a human? There are a few, but most games for humans have us playing as humans, or at least human like.

Maybe we don't have Goat Simulator here, but we do have Escape Goat 1 & 2.

I don't get who would really want a cow or goat simulator? The simulator games are just getting silly, I have seen a rock simulator, a mountain one, a grass one, and I'm sure there will be, or already is, a paint drying simulator.

Cows scare me, especially when they are carrying polearms.
