HypersomniacLive: Perhaps you should introduce them to a GOG game or two. ;-P
I would, but GOG doesn't sell the cow simulator game. :-)
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Good morning everyone.

Just over two hours left now, then it is finally(?) over. At which point I will re-locate to the new thread :-)
Good morning. =) Yes, it's all set up and going. Didn't feel like waiting til the last second to do that part. =)

CarrionCrow: Depends on how much money I could scrape together. But, if it shows up before my coin's replenished, I'll contribute to tracking, info gathering, all that good stuff while others do what they can to clear it out. An Insomnia sale is a good thing for GOG overall, so even if I can't get in on it I wouldn't tell them to stop. (as if they listen to me in the first place :) )
Question is, will anyone have any money left to buy games?. oh wait... thats what xmas money gifts are for....Maaahahahahhahahahaha...

Hopefully that works as an angle for some people. Already burned the sentimentality card, and I'm not willing to lay the bullshit on thick enough to play its smoking ashes for more, even if another sale's coming. -laughs-

LaPtiteBete: :-O ... Well, thanks, PaterAlf !!!
As you said : no more excuse.
Thanks a lot. I'll try them next week (I'll be on holidays) ! :))
So THAT's ninja giftings... !! :D
You're welcome. Just make sure that you choose the right game for you to begin with. The 6-pack includes three diffrent generations of Might and Magic games. I love them all, but especially the first two ones might be a little too oldschool for many people (simple graphics, just computer sounds, you have to draw your own maps and take a lot of notes if you want succeed).

CarrionCrow: Well, at least you went with something different. Don't usually think mage and melee in the same thought, but at least you tried.
Also, I did the same thing initially. Spent the money on unnecessary items, got burned, got to backtrack. -laughs-
Glad i wasn't the only one that made that mistake. *grins* I missed out on two side quests because i couldn't bribe my way through the npcs, but other than that i managed to get through the game just fine.

Surely a cow simulator is the last game a cow would want to play?

Maybe a point and click adventure game? ;)

I wouldn't be so sure.

This is like my friend, a car mechanic, looking up the humble bundle the other day and not knowing how to feel about 'car mechanic simulator'.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Good morning, Agent, how are you doing today?
Pretty good. Had dreams about stamping passports (thanks donsanderson :-D)

By the way, it feels so awesome when people say "Good morning, Agent". It has that 60's spy feel to it. It feels like I am receiving my IMF assignment for the day.
I love this new name XD

Wait... someone made a Cow Simulator in D:OS?

That's... awesome... XD

Damn I want that game :(

*goes back to searching the internet for ways to make money*

I don't remember missing anything, but like I said before it's apparent that I need to give it another playthrough. (Which will probably be after I finish off my current Dragonfall run.)
I'm counting no less than four actually rather good games in a row right now.

Refreshing.

You need to broaden both your horizon and theirs, and introduce them to new species. What fun would it be if they played cow simulator?

Though it comes naturally to greet you this way, I never thought of it as giving you your IMF assignment. Perhaps we should add it to the mix. ;-D

On an unrelated note, I just caught Red Cliff and have it play in the background, great film, highly recommended.

EDIT: typo

Well, just one unknown left. Wonder what they'll pick as a closer, considering that they're using AOW3 for two of the final slots.
