I'm still waiting for Rainbow 6 to come back around. Seems like Tuesday or Wednesday was the last I've seen of it.

HypersomniacLive: I greet all the brave that still follow the sale.and our Legion for documenting the endless appearances of the same titles, cheers.
Thankfully we had each other and this thread, though I had a few busy days recently and didn't participate much.

So, how's everyone's Sunday so far?
Not bad here, thanks, and good evening to you. =)
Everything's still rolling along like a shopping cart with two broken wheels. Same as it has been. -laughs-
Enjoying the upshot that the front page just reminds me that I've gone 19 for 24 on bundles, and 3 of 5 of the ones not complete are partials by choice, so it's all been picked clean. Not bad numbers.
What've you been up to that's so much more exciting than all this? Cleaning bathroom tile grout with a toothbrush? -laughs- ;)

Eating a quiet lunch and staring at timers, life is good! And yourself?

I'm picking up the Unreal Tournament titles this cycle. Also the Plane bundle. No idea why. I doubt I'll play any of them for longer than an hour and never touch them again.

Hang on. What kinds of games actually interest you?

CarrionCrow: Working on a combination of Luther, Red Dwarf, Archer, Twin Peaks, X-Files, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal Alchemist and Twilight Zone at the moment. Maybe by the time I'm done with that, I'll be able to start Doctor Who from as early as possible.
Yeah, I keep hearing good things about that one, but when you've got 3 dollar games everywhere, dropping 26 on a single item gets tricky in a hurry. Thinking that, Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity and Legend of Grimrock 2.
Holding off on stuff like Icewind Dale Enhanced since it's still got a whole lot of bugs....
Luther-Yes
Red Dwarf-Smeggin' yes
Archer- Hell yes
Twin Peaks-That flavor of gum you like is coming back into style.
X-Files-I DO believe.
Twilight Zone-I think back when SciFi Channel originally broadcast it I watched the series start to finish but haven't really spent time watching it since.

I also have been playing IWD:EE and thus far the bugs are very few and far between.Beamdog released a really complete version this time around, so if that's holding you back I'd recommend getting it anyhow:)

I wanted to pass this along too, thanks to Impaler26 for originally sharing it in the Free Games thread

That's good to hear. Icewind Dale's always of interest, especially since I started it after the occasional dialogue overload of Baldur's Gate 2. Still love that the game sets the stage, gets you going, and then its plot is woven through a lot of interesting dungeon crawls without having to talk to everyone and their dog.
This is a bad tally to keep track of, but it's amusing in a way since it's how I never usually play games -

Innocent, defenseless people killed? Yep.
Completely unnecessary fights started, causing bloodbaths when talking would have gotten the job done? Oh yeah.
Contacts betrayed for profit (and then killed)? Got the coin to prove it. Spent it on some nice new armor.
Party members abused and disregarded until they're no longer on speaking terms with me? Just one, but I remain hopeful for the others.

Not sure how I can piss off the rest of my team, but if I see an opening....-laughs-

Great way to take out frustrations without any real deaths. Not even a Goat or a Pigeon! ;)

I'm a sucker for Shadowrun. Only thing is, playing it half a dozen times the exact same way will get boring really fast. So at least one run has to be pure asshole. Honestly? Adepts are a bit boring. They either punch things or stab things. Their entire focus is on getting better at moving fast, staying protected, hitting harder so they can punch or stab things more.
Right now, there are two unarmed weapons available and two throwing weapons. Compare that to the guns, spells and cyberware available (a boatload on all counts and growing), and it's a bit samey.
Expanded the concept into a guy with no guns who punches or throws shuriken, but occasionally pulls out a bag full of grenades and goes explosive crazy. -laughs-

Hahaha, depending on how one looks at it - nth that exciting, or fortunately nth that tormenting. ;-P
I had to attend to a few things that were quite time consuming, along with some holiday related stuff. Didn't have much free time, and with partaking in the current mafia game, I had a lot of reading and catching up to do since we were at the verge of lynching RWarehall - yep, he's a goner.

Actually feeling pretty glad the sale's coming to an end. And I hope that GOG will do something different and more interesting for Xmas and New Year, and not another (mini) sale.

Already ran the numbers. They're 128 ahead, and with both lists cleared, they'll have ten more than me. Course, when the time comes I know myself well enough to know that I won't stop that close to 700.
Think I got just as much as them if not slightly more this time around when I count what I got for myself, what I gifted to others, and what others have been kind enough to gift to me.

Is there any mods that enhances the punchy melee stuff in the game with more feats or new weapons?

Wouldn't surprise me. Don't use mods though, so I'm couldn't say with certainty one way or the other. Usually go street samurai, decker or mage, so I'm taking the time to check out what the vanilla game offers for other classes.
Resident Evil and / or Silent Hill would be my favorite game series. Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed would be right up there as well. Zelda Games are great. Recently Finished playing the Previous Tomb Raider Trilogy (legend, anniv, underground) again for about the fifth time, Saint's Row games are wonderfully entertaining. I adore the traveller's Tales LEGO games.
