Does Stalker Clear Sky have mods which make it a better game? - the reviews seem to indicate its fairly buggy -- is it a game you can actually complete? and yes....i looking at the pidgeon sim (thank f*ck its not the crappy goat sim is all i have to say)...
(the crappy AUD makes buying games less appealing :/)

I'll still pick up pigeons. Eventually. Once its under $3. That is my self imposed price limit for most games these days.

How much of a difference are you looking at when it comes to regional pricing?

Australian prices are roughly 20% higher than US right now. Games that are regionally prices make that difference larger. Games that are Regionally priced here GOG do credit our accounts with the real difference. Even if it is only a few cents. Have not quite worked outwhere to find how much credit I have in my account as yet, but I know it is there .. somewhere.

Just looking at the price going up makes me a bit ill :/. regional pricing i can live with as long as its not EA/Activision/Ubi proportions (other aussies know what i mean).......

Its always expensive here (comparatively) no matter what anyone says. Prices of stuff locally always go up (never down) - wages stay static. Now buying stuff overseas has been steadily gone crapper -- used to be $1USD = $1AUD or even more. Been sliding down to around $1AUD = 80 cent USD steadily over last 24-36 months.....

To be fair, EA are not that bad if you are willing to wait. I have around twenty or so games on Origin. None of which cost more than a fiver. The games they have on here are also not regionally priced. Still kinda dicks when it comes to newer content, tho.

Completely agree with Ubisoft. Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed are two of my favorite franchises, so their attitude towards us here in Oz cuts me particularly deep.

I couldn't even tell you what games are by activision, so no comment there.

I hear Bandai Namco are particularly brutal as well. No personal experience or opinion there.

On a positive note, pretty sure Squeenix Loves us. We always get their stuff (comparatively) cheap. But I'm pretty sure Squeenix loves everyone. But hey, at least we are not excluded. A few titles have been cheaper on the AU store recently. Don't think any oteher company can claim that?

U havent seen the big one then. Most Call of Duty games Activision has pumped out last few years (have they actually made anything else during those years???) -- COD games are usually 40- 50% at least marked up for Aussies.
id like to piss on Bandai Namco for being TW3 publisher - hence why we get charge that high charge for the game...

When it comes to STALKER I have repeatedly seen the "Complete" mods recommended:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat - Complete(mod)

If you find Sachys he seems to have a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of the games and could no doubt tell you anything you need to know.

Hey everyone. I thoroughly recommend Doctor Who, great show. I have to admit I've only ever watched the new ones though. I've got a thing about old sci fi and I just can't watch it.

Not much of a tv watcher either, it's usually just on in the background while I'm gaming (or on here). I love Stargate, probably my favourite tv show.

During the FALL sale "Rise of the Triad 2013" appeared only once, on the first day. However at the very end of the sale, for 30 minutes you could get any and all(???) of the games from the sale. Does anybody know if the "Rise of the Triad 2013" was also available during those 30 minutes?

I'm asking because I missed Anvil of Dawn, that appeared only on the first day of the winter sale, and I'm hoping there will be a second chance at the end of the sale.
