It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

donsanderson: Have you updated your wiki page recently? I'm not thinking of ninja gifting it just seems to be broken.
avatar
hummer010: It does indeed seem to be a bit broken. It lists the games, but the pictures are all missing. I did just update it, and it didn't change anything.

Weird.
I'll contact barefootmonkey and see if they know what's up.

Edit: I've sent Barefoot_Monkey a PM about the wiki and Palemoon issues and will let you know if I find out anything.

Day 8, and "Risen" still haven't appear again in flash deals. I missed all previous Risen flash sales. I guess I'll just wait for Spring sale. Hopefully it will be there.

Hang in there, good chance it'll show again in this sale. ;)

IAmSinistar: Maybe. I only have the plugin installed in Palemoon, so I can't check other browsers.
avatar
Grargar: Tried it on Palemoon and failed as well. It must be the browser, indeed.
Thanks. Hopefully the next update to the tool will patch that. Otherwise I'll get a second browser set up with the plugin.

Thanks! I just spent the last 15 minutes monkeying with it, and I can't get it to show the images at all. If I try an show my game shelf, it's useless, because all there is are images. At least with the list, it shows the title.

For the record, using the chrome, I had to run the update thing a few times before it worked. It didn't fix my wiki problems, but at least it ran the sync without any errors.

donsanderson: That's priceless! ;)
It is, isn't it? I got it pinned on a notice board above my desk. ;-)

LaPtiteBete: I'm tempted by "I have no mouth and I must scream"... is it good ?
I think it's an "horror" game I could play without... well... screaming (let's stay polite).
It's a wonderful 90's point-and-click game. It's actually one of my favourites. It is split into 5 short stories (one for each of the characters), and has a more adult theme to it than many games on here. You can die, quite often if you're not careful, but the game is not too brutal. Just remember to save often, if not, then don't worry, if you die you just start back on the character screen ready to play again.

There are several minor hidden story paths in the game, especially the ending (several good ending and bad endings - only minor difference tough, nothing too different between them). These can be unlocked by exploring the characters stories fully. You won't miss much if you don't manage to get everything (it's easily done, and you probably won't notice that you missed something), but it does add a bit or re-playability, though don't expect too much from these different story paths, it is an old game after all. It has a very nice atmosphere and for the price, is definitely worth it if you are a fan of classic point-and-click games.

It works with the latest Firefox, will check with Pale Moon as soon as the profile backup completes.

The part we can't see that's outside the box. Seriously, Hyper, put some clothes on, it's Winter! No wonder you are blue. ;-)

CarrionCrow: It's supposed to be extremely good. The source material is fantastic, and I've heard is that the game goes beyond even that.
I actually preferred the game story to the original short story. I actually wish the game was longer, so that you can explore more of the characters backgrounds, especially Nimdok, for some reason he interested me the most. It is similar to the source, but there are quite a few difference, but Harlan Ellison (who narrated AM, the machine, in the game) re-wrote it very well for the game.

Depends how you look at it. Are you saying you can't see the blue-faced person in the avatar? O_o

Took me a while before i was available to see the eye part.
