Let's cross our fingers for them... !!!

AgentBirdnest: Yeah, pretty similar.
The Mobile Campaign and Anomaly Korea are pretty much the same as the original game, just with new levels.
Anomaly 2 ramps things up with a new lineup of transformable units, an upgraded graphics engine, and multiplayer mode - but it is the same basic gameplay.
I haven't played Defenders yet, so no comment.

I'm fond of Command & Conquer, Dune2000, Red Alert 2, for example... Do you know if these are quite the same kind of games ?...

IAmSinistar: The only qualms I heard voiced about the games were with Anomaly Defenders, which turned the pioneering Tower Offense games back into Tower Defense.

No, they aren't similar at all.
The gameplay is basically this - You command a convoy of up to 6 vehicles of your choosing. The convoy is always moving, and you have to plan a route through a maze of streets that are guarded by towers. The objective is usually to get from one end of the level to the other, and destroy the towers along the way.
