donsanderson: Morning all! Just in time for bundle change I see. Whoopee!
I can confirm however that our Viking Bard is alive and well and will probably join us tomorrow.
He sent me a PM with a lovely gift attached, as is his style. ;-)
That is great to hear! I was getting very worried.

New games confuse me...who's played them, are they worth it?

RWarehall: New games confuse me...who's played them, are they worth it?
If you have played the original Anomaly Warzone Earth, they are roughly more of the same.

The Wing Commander saga is good, but my husband wouldn't dream of playing them without a joystick. Mouse & keyboard may be tough for those. If your hubby's got the right controller kicking around, they're a solid bet.

moonshineshadow: I don't think there was anything to miss :P
It would appear so,

Wasn't there someone who guessed or wished for a Wing Commander bungle?

And I also got a reply to my PM confirming that our leader Viking is well, just terribly busy.

So same quality, no major sequel disappointments?

Indeed, that is a surprise. I expect they were able to sale bundle them since the games themselves are not particularly new. Still, a great way to announce their arrival here!

Not a disappointment in the sense that they broke something. Anomaly 2 has received some additional makeover, sports multiplayer and has changed the way some of the units operate, while the Mobile Campaign and Anomaly Korea could be considered as reskins of the original one.

The only qualms I heard voiced about the games were with Anomaly Defenders, which turned the pioneering Tower Offense games back into Tower Defense.
Good morning, all!

Glad to see people are happy about the surprise new releases. I'm not interested in them personally, but I'm glad it's given some people a much-needed charge during this sleep-inducing sale.

Arinielle: The hubby says he hopes there will be a Tomb Raider bundle.
There was a Tomb Raider bundle during the Fall Sale last month, so I would think the chances of it reappearing so soon is not too good. Just my opinion, of course.
