Xenonauts has been on my maybe list for a while so I did a bit of YooChoobing to see how it moves/sounds to help me make up my mind. I'm glad I did. The guy who was doing the walkthrough was happy enough, but after watching about fifteen minutes of the game I was so bored I almost started eating my desk. Watching hair turn gray looks like more fun. It looks good in the pics, but the gameplay is r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w, too much so for me. It might be a riot, but I'll probably hang onto my krone this time round. Unless anyone has found its merits and I'm talking out of my back door...

Grargar: Mine. As much as I would like to buy Raiden III, it's included in my Secret Santa wishlist and it will remain there till Christmas.
Saw the Wasteland 2 discount earlier today, but had to abstain. Not sure it would have been in my power anyway (December is a bit of a lean month for me), but Secret Santa made it easy. :)

Yeah, it is quite hard to not buy all the nice games on sale at the moment. And everytime one vanishes another one pops up that would be on my wishlist... which makes it hard not to get grumpy

I've been passing on it since it came out and again today I think. Pretty much same reason as you, looks like a combination of stressful and boring. Need to play the originals it's fashioned after first anyway.

Did you ever play and enjoy the original XCOM? I'm most likely pulling the trigger on Xeno but I haven't looked at gameplay beyond the video here, and the reviews / comments.

I'm curious because if you never played XCOM, I won't worry too much about you thinking it's slow... but if you played and loved XCOM I might have to take a look at a few gameplay videos myself...!

My receipt for AoW came in at 14.21 (the sale started at 14.00 GMT) and my sale notifiication is time stamped 19.59. SIX HOURS LATE, GOG!!
