LeoLR: Finally I have time for myself. Good night, folks!
First I saw an invasion by vikings, now dwarves are building fortresses. What comes next? An orcish horde? :-)

I have to be extra careful with my budget as I need to take into account the exchange rate to my local currency.
No fortressed, just digging holes for diamonds, rubies, gold, and more, like true dwarfs. :-)

How are you Leo?

Vikings are just manlings who wish they were Dwarves. Did teach them everything they know about crafting precious metals, after all.

And if orcs dare come, well, Gimli Son of Gloin said it best:"Give me a row of orc-necks and room to swing and all wearines will fall from me!"

Next comes the infamous gnome invasion.
Well, since there really is no 'off topic' here how about this:

Received a letter about a year ago informing me that I owed over $30,000.00 in taxes. It said I had not filed tax returns for 9 tax years.
Since I lost my house and all of its contents in the floods of 2008 I had NO receipts or other paperwork to fight this with.
Hired an attorney who said he could help me out, paid him $1,500.00 to do so.
Received another letter today saying my taxes had been reviewed and I now owe.....................................

$250.00

I'm not much on lawyers but this one earns a gold star, no? <shit eating grin>

Ragnarblackmane: For the record, if anyone really enjoys that song and hasn't played Dwarf Fortress, then what the Hells are you still doing in this thread? The game is free! And awesome! And dwarves! And beer! And Dwarven beer!

http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/

Most people probably know the chorus came from a Yogscast Minecraft session but the full song references DF, MC, and dwarven greatness in general.
Manthith! (That's cheers in Khuzdul)
I keep hearing about Dwarf Fortress and never get around to playing it... might very well have to now :D

FoxySage: Never actually heard the song before. As to why i don't play dwarf fortress. Not really my type of game. *shrugs*

Your song did remind me of another dwarven song though.
That's really good. Now I'm curious. Do you now where this custom campaing for NWN can be found?

I'm fine considering the bothersome day I had. However I'm on the right place to cheer up. :-)

Tell this to Stilton and see how he reacts. :-)

Ok, that is seriously awesome. What a great lawyer and congrats on getting that sorted out!

Niggles: Strange question - what sort of a budget do people put aside for these kind of sales?

Pretty much getting that way here with the Aussie dollar taking a nose dive -_-

Ragnarblackmane: Brothers of the mine rejoice,
Swing, swing, swing with me.
Raise your pick and raise your voice,
Sing, sing, sing with me.
Down and down into the deep,
Who knows what we'll find beneath?
Diamonds, rubies, gold and more,
Hidden in the mountain store.
Some of us "closet" dwarfs don't appreciate being fed such potent earworms. Really, who knows where I'll end up singing this...

It was a popular song for dwarven areas among the NwN persistent servers. The video is for the A Land Far Away (ALFA) server as mentioned in the video's comment section.
I came across this last night... So freaking good! lol~

AWESOME. So happy for you! Too often, we only hear the horror stories that don't end well for people. Yours is definitely worth a celebration!

I'm feeling a bit better after my... episode. That was probably the weirdest, lamest, and most embarrassing anxiety trigger I've ever had.
I apologize to anyone who had to see that. Looking back, I see that it was a really awkward thing to post. I didn't mean burden anyone else with my problems. I don't know why I posted that. I'm sorry.

moonshineshadow: You do what you need to avoid that. See you later when it is not bugging you anymore. Play some cool games in the meantime :-)
I took some Klonopin, and played Risen for a few hours. Thank you very much for that one :-) I'm really digging it.
Feeling alright now. Thanks everyone for the well-wishes.

As long as you're doing better! Anxiety doesn't have to make sense - it often doesn't. But it's real and it happens and it sucks, so I'm glad to hear that you feel better now. :P)

No problem :-) And hey don't worry, probably a lot of people here make post that they later think were awkward or should not have been posted, at least I also had this feeling sometimes :D
In regards to Risen, it is great to hear that you are having fun with it! What to you think about pirate themed games? I am just curious since many people complained about Risen 2 because of the pirate theme, but in my opinion it was also a fun game, so if you don't mind that, you should look into it later :-)
