moonshineshadow: good morning everyone :-) up to date now and ready for some fun :D
And btw I know the discussion was hours ago, but honestly it always annoys me, so let me say this: The original series is called "A Song of Ice and Fire " and not "Game of Thrones", that was the first book of the series, so screw you TV series ;-)
Good morning. =) Everything's up to date but the fun is strictly make your own. (As it has been since the sale started.)

LaPtiteBete: Hi Ddickinson ! How are you today ?
I wish there was a Lucas Arts bundle (like huN73R said)...
or Broken Sword ! (I'll never give up... I wait that one from last sales ^^).
Thanks for my avatar ! :")

Good morning too, moonshineshadow !
We only need 12 people to wish, for it to become reality.

I would be more hopeful if the games had received a previous discount, but nothing of the sort has happened.

Good morning, moonshineshadow!

I have never been a fan of the series. I tried reading the first book, but it just never appealed to me. I read a bit of some others and it just didn't draw me in (I guess I'm just not a big fan of the author). I have not seen the T.V. Series, I watch very little T.V. and as the books never appealed to me, I saw no reason to see the T.V. series.

Grargar: Call it a case of the TV series becoming more famous than the book series. It also doesn't help that (at least for the Greek versions) the TV Game of Thrones logo is displayed more prominently than the series' name.
Yeah I know :D But it still irritates me everytime I read it :D And I can't tell you if it is the same for the logo in the German version, I did not watch it but it is probably the same.

At this point be happy that you did not like the series. I might be a tad pessimistic and frustrated, but the latest books were not as good as the first three. It seems like Martin lost direction. And the time between the book releases grows longer and longer... at this point I am thinking that the series will probably never be finished...

Why would he finish it? As long as the books sell and the T.V. Show is popular, he will probably keep it going until it's run into the ground.
Yikes...slept more than I had planned. ...oh well. I'm here.

What did I miss?

I forgot to mention that I was referring to the books. Example for the first volume of Clash of the Dragons. The series' name is the blurb at the bottom of the cover.

I was making a reference to power of belief in Planescape Torment. The Nameless One wills a person into existence by introducing himself as Adahn to 12 people.

There is the "small" problem that he's pretty old (66 years to be exact). There are also quite a few people who are afraid he is going to pull a Robert Jordan on them.

Haven't played Torment for a long time, so I couldn't remember the reference.

That is not what I was meaning. I think he has no idea how to go on with his own story and if he continious with this slow pace he'll die before he is finished. At first he said the series will contain 8 books, ok book four got seperated into two parts, so that should make it nine books... let's see the time.
Game of Thrones - 3 years wait time - A clash of Kings - surprisingly 1 year - A Strom of Swords - 5 years - A Feast for Crows - 6 years - A Dance with Dragons - and now 3 more years and the expectation for the next book to appear is 2017...

Ah ok, that is not the case with the books I have, but it probably also depends if you have a version published before the TV series or after

There is little I find more frustrating than trying to find parking space in this shithole of a city.

At first I was annoyed, then frustrated, this progressed onto rage, which went on to become a murderous rage with genocidal overtones.

I have now gone beyond all that and find myself in a state of tranquil fury. This ice cold rage has been somewhat mellowed by the fact that I did finally find a good spot, but not by MUCH.

What games would you consider good to unleash some very much in need of release, pent-up aggression?

Depends on the person, I suppose.. But my hubby will go for the city-builder type of games when he needs a release and still use that energy positively.

I usually alternate between Diablo-type games for mindless fun that doesn't require thinking too much...just getting that aggression out as quick as possible.

Other times, I'll look to games that allow for more peaceful wandering around and gathering stuff, then building when I feel like it without anyone trying to tell me what I should be doing. This style is more new to me since I started playing Trove so I don't know what other games like it there are yet.
