LynetteC: No worries there - it's gone 4am here and I haven't been to bed yet. I have to get my daughter to school by 8.40 and then I'm at work from 9am. It'll probably be 6pm ish here before I get back online so there should be lots of ideas floating around by then. :-)

Good luck with your exam.
Where do you get your staying power from? My head feels like its about to disappear inside my shirt.

LynetteC: Aww, sorry to hear this. Anything we can do to improve your mood?

Hey, we're all in this together. :-) I'm about to turn in for a couple of hours before my husband gets home from his night shift and finds me still out of bed, but you're always welcome to PM me if you need to chat. (((hugs)))

I think it's because I had one of my crashes last night. Fell asleep on the chair at around 10.30pm, woke up at 3am and crawled into bed until 7.30am. My body clock is completely screwed up with my weekend hours. I've just finished dusting and tidying my living room! :-D

I've had times like those, when I've been full of beans and everyone around me looks like zombies. I kind of like it :-)

I used to laugh in the face of Old Night, pressing on with my life and habitually carousing at all hours following a full day of studies then refreshing myself with a quick shower and doing it all over again.

I miss my youth, and I'm not even that old yet, so people tell me.
I think I've reached close down. Take it easy all, and see you in a few hours. Have fun!
OK, time for me to catch some ZZZZZ's. :-) See you all tomorrow. Night night everyone.

I think I'll sleep on it and see what I can come up with. Scientific or supernatural? What do you think?

OK, so I'm lying in bed (this is why l love my tablet!) and one word comes to me - "narcolepsy". A starting point for our hero's powers? Perhaps coupled with something like enhanced neurons in his / her brain allowing him / her to kind of "astral project" into other people's psyche. Any thoughts?

Not sure if I'm welcome to add my own thoughts since I wasn't part of the original discussion but a question...what about something like an ability to astral project but the cost of such an ability is the debilitating effects of narcolepsy? Flawed heroes are more interesting to me, I suppose.
And another slow day of the winter sale comes to a close.

I've managed to buy but one game for myself so far.

Good night all.

Heh, so far my only purchases have been for Secret Santa and my giveaway. I admire restraint.

I've bought (or been gifted by extremely generous people, can't forget to mention their contribution to my gleeful hoarding=) ) over 500 games in the last 14 months, I buy things for no other reason than gut feeling and I blindside gift people silly at the drop of a hat.
So much for restraint....-giggles-

Wow, would that I could afford to do such a thing, especially the gifting. I kind of marvel at some people's libraries when checking the wiki, wondering how they find the time to play all those games. Steam is even worse; a lot of people have upwards of 500 games but seem to play the same few dozen.
