innocuous77: I am owned by 4. Earlier in the thread, I posted kitten pics (the sale was stale and I was bored). A year later, I have ThunderPaws (huge feet) and Bowling ball (13 lbs and a year old and has little toothpicks for paws). I also have Pippin (12 years ols - and just looks over his domain and pffffs) and Puck - 4 years old (wants to eat everything).

trentonlf: We have Puss (15 and queen of the house), Little one 10 (my special baby as I rescued her when she was about 10 days old and have had her since), Boots (9 and a very temperamental black cat that is one of the strongest cats I've ever had), Abby (1 year old who is a truly aloof cat unless she is wanting love and then she is a lap baby), and Pearl (1 year old who loves to eat and play, her and Abby are not littermates but the act like it)
They sound amazing. Your Puss was my Clio - she was with me for 16 years. I lost her last year, and it still kills me. But with her brother and the new kittens,I seem to have a household of calm...

OK, not really. They own my life:)

Stilton: huN73R, did you say something yesterday (?) along the lines of, 'I wonder if there's ever been a super hero whose weapon is having a nap.'?
Yes I did. Do you happen to know one?

CarrionCrow: They added one new movie, The Basement, and one new game, Divinity Original Sin at a 33 percent rather than a 20 percent discount, in the early morning (for me) hours. That's it.
I thought we'd be having flash deals like the ones on first day of sale (3 games every 40 minutes) with an entirely different set of games

Ragnarblackmane: If I might be so bold, I rp'd a dwarven warpriest/skald on a NWN server and wrote some "sagas" celebrating the exploits of himself and his companions...

Seven did travel, War-clad shining
Brakk and Torgar, of Moradin's Folk
Dina Correllon-born
Joshua, Joric, Shaina and Muhl
Born of Men, Warriors, Priestess and Priest
Hewed the Orc, many were Felled
Battle-lines held, Shields unbroken
Firm in the face of Death

Strife ensued, between the Men
As they are wont to do
Words over Spoils, Harsh and Grim
Oaths spat in Anger
Joric and Muhl near to Blows did come
Shaina pleading, they adhered
So Six there were, Mulhorandi leaving
Delved did we, into Orc Lair

Into Battle we Strove
Many did we Cleave
Stone as ever proved our Ally
Strength provided by Clangeddin's Might
Footprints discovered, a Child of Men
Great Wrath was felt, made us overeager
Came to with Orcblooded standing over us
Grudgingly admitted our skill, called us trespassers

Orcblood raised by one half, taught by another
A chieftain to these savages
Swore to return Child safely
Bitterly we left
Swearing to return
Not countenance defeat
Strong Allies Together
Will Venture again

***

Woman Loria boasted, showing Oghrann Kuld
Proclaimed Her's by Right of Spoils
Found on long-slain Kin
No choice but to accept for now
Offered did She to prove Her Worth
To Kin Brakk and I, Torgar
She ventured with suspect priest Kross and Halfblood Yothaire
We Dwarves joined, I Asked Clangeddin for Wisdom

Ventured did We, for Giantfoes to Hunt
Upon the Heights of the Storm Horns, Orcs were Hewed
Then a Glorious encounter, a True Honor
Silver Dragon did speak to Us, Lothriniax the name
Magnanimous Tidings were Given, Humbled was I
She praised our Prowess, seeing many Orcs slain
A Dire Warning of a White sighted,
Further thanks given, to the Mighty Wyrm, and Father of Battles

To Espar We traveled, met by the Man Haven
Sun-touched He has been, but claims now to be cured
Spoke of a Celestial gift, an Angel he restored
Proof asked for, he showed a feather
Then a Mighty Sword, a gift He claimed
Joined us to Hunt the Giantfoes
Fierce combat was given, our Foes pressed us
We Slew them all, laying them out

***

Many in these lands whose true selves are hid
Though every stone may hide a gem
Meseems these few hath proven Honorable allies
These Honorable Samman, proud I am to know
Ivan Battlemane, a Kuldar-born, noble in bearing
Brakk Blackore, battle-lusty, his Forge burns hot
Haggard Stoneblood, stout in battle, stern of character
Thanks given to the Allfather for these Kin
Others there are, and others there will be
Elf maiden Keth-dho'Llae patient and wise, unlike most of her Kin
Lili Lannes, a Hin of pure heart, shaft of light in darkest depths
Joric Battle-born, wise in war, but still a Man
Haven Arnimane, goodly I deem, but proud to a fault
The Man Mihail of Damara, noble of intent, but less bearded than he deems
Cassie Clearwater, a Hin kindly in spirit
Kaliya the monk, Honorable Woman though she is of Thay
Very nice!

That was my Max that I in January of this year. He was 13, but had diabetes. I gave him 2 shots a day for almost a year, but it finally was too much for him :(

We got Abby earlier this year from someone who was trying to find a home for her and having trouble doing so. A week after we got her I was at a customer's office who knew my love of cats and asked if I would take a cat home that someone had dumped in a field by their place of business so Pearl came home with me :)

No, I don't, but I thought it was an amazing idea, the total opposite of anything violent. Not what you'd expect from a comic or graphic novel (although maybe from an Alan Moore graphic novel).
Too tired to go on...

Thanks everyone for another great day of wonder and merriment. See you tomorrow!

hummer010: Just turned 39.

innocuous77: Child:)
I know. My wife turns 41 in February.
Anyone have thoughts on Fract OSC? 74% off is good, but its still $4 for what looks like a badly colored walk-em-up? Anyone want to jump to its defense? Is it worth laying down the $4, or wait for an inevitable bundle?

How about 'The Dream Walker' for a name? We can write the story and create our own game!

That's a good thought, although if you want, we could start knocking some ideas about...
