Stilton: You're very talented. I'm sure your wombat is very proud of you!

LaPtiteBete: Thanks Stillton !!! :")
I don't know if he's still proud of me... when we met, he was ! ;)

FoxySage: Oh, original drawing. *blush* sorry about the mistake.

The style made it looks a bit similar to a comic i read as kid. Thought it might be an obscure Ducksburg character or something. Still really great. I find it really adorable. <3

LaPtiteBete: Thank you very much FoxySage !
I wonder what is the comic you're talking about :)
I think I mainly draw my inspiration from a cuddly little owl I had when I was a kid... I found it again a few years ago, and it looks strangely familiar to me :) I remember this little guy is one of the first things I bought by myself.

Well, time to go to bed. Good night everybody ! see you tomorrow !! :-*
Good night, and perfect dreams!!

Good night little owl. ;)

donsanderson: As another old person I 100% agree with this, life is for enjoying!
As to the cat avi, no thanks, dog person here. ;)

innocuous77: Don't get me wrong - I adore dogs. I'd have them if my life and yard were conducive to them.

Story... My parents were going to come to my neck of the woods for Thanksgiving (700 mile trip), so I ordered a rather large turkey in advance. They cancelled because their dog had to have leg surgery and needed daily rehab. So I sat there with a 19 lbs turkey and 4 cats. I kept looking at the size of the turkey and the size of my cats and wondered how the weight transfer would work...:) (hint - really fat cats)

My parents cancelled a trip because they didn't want to leave their dog's health to anyone else - and I'm great with that.

OK, I'm babbling and I don't even have the excuse that CC does...:)
-laughs- There's no excuse for what I do. I talk a lot and when horrible shit comes into my head, more often than not I end up sharing it with others.
Also, you don't babble. Tell me about celebrities. Tell me about fashion. Tell me about how horribly your life's been affected by the girl at the Starbucks getting your order wrong. THEN you would be babbling. Storytelling isn't babbling.
I'll also try to sleep now, so see you all tomorrow at our tag-team timer torture sale ;-)

innocuous77: You're doing it right. Relationships and sharing and building lives are hard enough - no need to argue about something as silly as $. Like yelling at each other will make more:) (if it did, I'd be a bigger bitch... and rich)

Arinielle: Nah. We seem pretty chill on most things. Now and then he has behaviors that irk me but nothing serious. He's the one that's put up with a lot of my issues and helped me get the help I needed for several different issues.

We've so far only found that we can agree on playing World of Warcraft together... Most other games we have a different taste for so we're still on the lookout for anything we can play together that we'll both agree on. We want to play more games together but I hear that trying to introduce spouses to things like the Mario Kart series ruins relationships. :P
Back in the day (gods I'm old), boyfriend and I used to have 'lost weekends.' We'd free up our weekend (and this was during grad school - no easy feat) when we'd put our hulky desktops in the same room and serial port them together to play Baldur's Gate.

Now, I wouldn't suggest that for someone who doesn't like long-form RPGs. But Torchlight works well for that. The Dreamfall games also work, but not multi-player (he and I switched off playing scenes).

Never forget... the family that games together, stays together:)

LynetteC: I wonder if I'll ever perform anywhere near you - sounds like you might enjoy quite a bit of my set. :-)
I'm down in Somerset - if you ever head that way let me know. I can sit there with a handkerchief and cry all night ;-)

Later, Big G. (I felt really awkward saying that. I'm really sorry.)
May I suggest that in view of his brilliant and amusing contributions to this forum that we commence +1'ing the shit out of our noble bards posts and see if we can't get him that second star by the end of this sale?

It's ok :D I know my avatar kind of shouts that... but I had this avatar since my first forum appearance on the internet and was very proud when I managed to make it, so I can't bring myself to change it :D

I've +'d just about every post by everyone in this thread. I've been a cheery mood the last few days.

You're right - I don't even think about that here. Corrected...

Yeah...that's the problem. He doesn't like any of those. He likes micro-managing and tactic-type games while I like ones with lots of story and a world I can happily get lost in and do pretty much nothing and yet feel like I've accomplished so much because I like to wander around a lot.

We have our computers in the same room but at opposite ends of it. Own tables and all. So we 'can' play games together if we want to. He wants to get a console but I'm not too interested in Xbox 360 and Xbox One...and he isn't interested in Nintendo ( and has one request of not having a PS unless it's from say... second-hand stores or something. He wants no money going to Sony if at all possible ).
