AgentBirdnest: I don't have anyone to play with :(
Everyone in my family stopped playing video games in their teens. (Fortunately, I was never able to get out of my teens.)
I used to have some friends to play with, but they all went off and got jobs, family, and schooling... Morons...
My brother occasionally still likes to play some old NES games with me if we are both in a good mood - Baseball, Golf, and Contra. The latter two are still fun to this day :)
That is sad. I always enjoy playing adventures together with my mum whenever I visit her. Everyone in my family stopped playing video games in their teens. (Fortunately, I was never able to get out of my teens.)

On the note of playing games together, perhaps we can organize something when gog galaxy finally arrives to play together in multiplayer, that could be fun :-)

Things are descent. My body is a bit weak from yesterday's... food poisoning maybe? I've been sleeping a lot today. But my mental state is good.
And yeah, I'm playing a lot of games thanks to you guys :-)
I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the new choices. I started with Sam and Max, which I fell in love with in about 11 seconds. Dabbled in some Risen, and plan on trying Earth 2140 tonight (I believe that was from you :-))

Oh, I'm definitely singing festive songs! It's the time of year I start to refresh my memory on Christmas songs for my gigs from this weekend up to Christmas. Only singing songs 6 - 8 times a year means they don't get a chance to stick in my head until they've been in the set for a couple of years. Got a couple of new ones I want to add this year; Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You and December Will Be Magic Again by Kate Bush. I need the second one as my agent has been asking me to put together a Kate Bush tribute since she heard me sing Wuthering Heights at a showcase a couple of weeks ago.
This shows just how amazing the lady is when she sings live. It's going to take a lot of work to do her justice. :-)

Wow, you've played loads more than me. I've got a Stronghold shortcut on my desktop trying to get my attention but I'm feeling a bit distracted. This sale and Christmas on the way and things to do and, and, and... It'll be nice once I get on top of everything and can relax a little. I'm what you might call a 'pending' person; if there's something that needs doing I'm never fully relaxed until its done. Maybe I should prioritize the important things and forget the rest. It'll probably make me happier. And give me more time for games :-) And yeah, I'm playing a lot of games thanks to you guys :-)

That would be a good thing. ;) I always try to be a bit of a 'character' in stores, try to get people laughing, I find they remember you better and that helps in later visits. Not much different than in these forums. In here though I try to be fairly 'meek' since there are many, many people here who know more than I. In RL however I'm not in the least afraid to be assertive, especially when my, or another persons, welfare is concerned. Doctors are just one good example. I am in charge of my health, not them, and I let them know that.
I'm very much a pacifist, but not a doormat. </rant>

CarrionCrow: Refreshing the page repeatedly, but it's still not changing. Either the item's broken, or the developer only wanted their stuff to be 75 percent off for a certain amount of time.
Or it took the place of a title that was discounted at 50% and GOG failed to update all details. It's not like it'd be the very first time they'd have messed up. ;-) EDIT: Based on Pdigeot's script, last time that Moebius: Empire Rising was around it was followed by Lifeless Planet: Notice anything?
Moebius: Empire Rising $8.99 ($29.99) [70%] (Ends Sun, 07 Dec 2014 19:18:59 UTC)
Lifeless Planet $9.99 ($19.99) [50%] (Ends Sun, 07 Dec 2014 19:58:59 UTC)
