I'm getting the world famous and almost continually annoying 'I made a mistake and bought an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti graphics card and have regretted it ever since' tearing problem.

Does anyone know if there was ever a cure for this, aside from taking the damn thing out of my PC and driving a Sherman tank over it?

As you might assume, its being a tad bothersome...

You may enjoy Battle Isle as well, then.

You could consider it's successor nature somewhat like that of Eye Of The Beholder and Legend Of Grimrock. The latter is a more graphically advanced and computationally powerful game, but owes much of its mechanics to the former title.

And yes, I know this'll be a massive shock to some people, but I also own Long Live The Queen. Started playing it, and it didn't really grab my attention, but at least I wasn't foaming at the mouth in ten minutes time.

It actually didn't bother me. It was mostly text, I was coming out of Spring Insomnia and I didn't have the focus to dig in and see how to actually keep the person alive. So at that time it was just me being impatient for a death scene but not wanting to read through a lot of dialogue. -laughs-
The game doesn't make me cringe to see it in my library like that other one does....

Nope, my all seeing eye noticed that moonshineshadow had picked up where Crow left off, and will only step in if our Swiss friend can't continue till Crow returns. ;-)

If I may butt in though - whoever continues the tracking list while Crow is away should try to do it in the exact format that Crow uses; that way he can join out silly talks and not spend much time on something one or both of you have already devoted time to. :-)

You are not the first I see complaining about this NVIDIA card. Is this problem only to this particular series or it's something that spreads to other NVIDIA models?
I'm asking because one of my plans to next year is to build a new PC.

(Add in Cryostatis, Second Sight and XIII, unless you have them already. If you do, include them anyway. Make them give you gift codes for those items. ;) )

Before you get an NVIDIA card I would do some research into the tearing problem as, as far as I know, it isn't just confined to my model. I don't know how extensive it is, but I've heard there are several cards that have the same or similar issues.
