That sounds good... it should make a whole game itself, not just an add-on of random games.

Tekkaman-James: The issue is that The Witcher is available in ten languages. So, when each one gets the update, you get a red flag. It's no less of a pain in the rear, but that is why it's happening.
That would mean that it takes GOG several days to put them all up, as last time the flags kept returning for days to no end after the fist one.

Oh, just discovered if you buy a bundle of games as a gift. They are all tied to one key. Thought you could seperate them to give out individual codes for them.

When you go to redeem the key you have the option to only redeem certain games. Then the key is still good for the games you did not redeem.

But you can redeem them seperately, so as long as you give the code to trustworthy people who will only redeem only the games they are meant to have everything is fine.

hummer010: I like snow. I just get tired of moving it. I've got 200' of driveway to deal with. I've got horses that I need to get hay to, and the only thing I have to move the snow with is a '48 Ford tractor with a back blade. My Ford is remarkably reliable, despite being 66 years old, but it isn't very good at moving snow. No front wheel assist, no locking diff, and it's geared too high. A back blade isn't ideal either.

I have visions of a smaller front mount blade for it, but I've never managed to put it together yet.

Stilton: Rig up a flamethrower on the hood (careful of the horses....) Then put some loud music on and get melting.
While the flamethrower sounds like a fun option, all its really going to do is make a bunch of water, that will then turn into a bunch of ice. I've already got enough ice.

Indeed. Especially if the update is being made across multiple platforms. This is what is happening with Unepic right now; 12 languages across 3 platforms. It's going to be an annoyance for a while. :/

What makes it even worse is that GOG still hasn't fixed the script that tells you WHAT in the game files was updated. How long has the site redesign been done and this is still broken? Ugh...

Don't get me wrong; I find the concept of the game to be on a level of bizarre that far exceeds my comfort zone. However, the price was really low and the reviews are surprisingly positive. If the game ends up being less bizarre than I am assuming, I feel I am short-changing myself by misjudging it. Besides, it's a Japanese game and I felt I needed to show my support.

i suppose that could work. Just makes it more complicated than i thought at first. Thought i was being clever and buying in bundle in preparation for the secret Santa thread. :p
