Stilton: The pain was quite literally out of this world. Probably a posture thing, or maybe I need to go to Lars Ahlberg & Son (my outfitter) and get my head remeasured for a new lid. Cold weather, blizzard conditions, wild beasts and random attacks from crazed barbarians - and now the kind of headaches that would make Odin wince. Its not easy being a warrior of the north, you know.
Ragnarblackmane: I dunno about that last part, after all, dude had an eye ripped out just for wisdom. For a headache he'd probably just grunt it away.
As we are mere mortals however, I sympathize with your plight and suggest medication via a strong stout beer.
Beer
always works, but right now I don't have any. Isn't it always the way?
CarrionCrow: Would agree with it probably being posture-related. It's difficult to keep everything ergonomic for a normal person, let alone someone with a large chunk of metal encasing their skull.
Yeah, this tin hat thing is getting to be a bit of a pain, particularly when the temperature drops below zero. Maybe I should wear something a bit lighter, like a trilby. Could a Viking get away with that, do you think?
